Hunter53 Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Wife and I will be heading down for a few days the end of this week. Saw there were storms down your way (hopefully everyone is ok!!) and was curious what the lake will be like (floating debris, water color, etc.) especially around the Kimberling City area? If anyone sees a red/black basscat jaguar stop and say hi. cheesemaster, Quillback and snagged in outlet 3 3

Hunter53 Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 Back on topic LOL; what are we looking at for lake conditions? snagged in outlet 3 1
Quillback Posted April 29 Posted April 29 I'm up early planning to head over there in a bit. I don't anticipate any lake problems as far as debris or muddy water, lake level had been fairly steady, the storms have not dumped a whole lot on us. I bet you'll be fine around KC. Kings River showed zero new inflow from the rain and the James only rose a couple of feet at Galena, which will come right back down quickly. What a gorgeous Cat. Was that Rick P's personal boat by chance?
Hunter53 Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 Hey James! Hope you and Donna are doing well?! Thanks for the info on the lake. The boat was the basscat demo boat so Rick did drive it some I assume. Quillback 1

Hunter53 Posted yesterday at 03:34 AM Author Posted yesterday at 03:34 AM Lake was fine like you guys said it would be. Fishing was kind of slow for us. Fished gravel and areas we used to catch them when we came down every year. Ned was our best bait. Was first time out with the new boat so that was fun. I did get it up to 83mph a couple times with 4 of us in the boat with one guy being 250ish pounds. There was definitely more speed to be had but want to get more familiar with the boat before really pushing it. As always we really enjoyed our time down. grizwilson, Daryk Campbell Sr and snagged in outlet 3 2 1
