Those 330s definitely will make your butt pucker taking the safetys off. Caster mounds are the way to go. Awesome otter. I have never got one but have heard they torment beavers

I beat my Speks up with a meat tenderizer. Zip lock bag with I county fry my speks. Beat the breast with a tenderizer, zip lock them up with oil salt flour paprika egg pepper. Then fry em quick. Agree. Don’t over cook. Then make gravy with what’s left in the pan.

Doesn’t hurt to take 20 minutes and troll a bank line and see. I’ve caught a few with lead line going slow in the winter. Use your electronics as you go and see where fish are. -
