    After cleaning apply some U40 cork treatment. Will help keep it clean.

    We go about every year to fish with Capt Rok at Venice Guide Service. He will put you on some nice Redfish and Sheepshead. Have also fished with Big Dog Guide Service in Barataria, just south of N.O. He is a good guy also.

    Started building rods several months ago. I have done 8 now. I wish you luck. Going to be a tough way to make money. Maybe enough to pay for new equipment. One guy snaps a rod and you lose the profit from several rods building them a new one. Might throw in some guide repairing service for some working capital.

    OK. I thought the Missouri regatta page had it listed Friday and Saturday.

    I think it is tomorrow too. We put in at Mill Creek and it seemed like all 117 of them went past us headed up the James River. I guess that's where they caught their fish.

    I don't know which of those that green stuff was, but I fished there Sunday and it was pretty nasty in some spots.

    Heading down to Taneycomo for New Years and through the weekend. I always bring the worst weather with me. People should pay me to stay home. Maybe the fishing will be good. Cold, but good.

    Grew up in Humboldt. Went to high school there. Tn. Martin for college. We fished Pickwick and Big Sandy quite a bit also.

    Made mine from 1/4" thick black Sintra plastic that I cut out on the bandsaw and sanded the edges.

    Cool video. I grew up in West Tn and fished Reelfoot with my Grandpaw alot. I remember the days when there were no limit on crappie or bluegill and we would come home with a huge cooler full.

    Black crappie matter, although I catch alot more white crappie

    doesn't really show up in the picture, but just never seen one as bright green as it was.

    Caught this at Bull Shoals today. Striped like a Smallmouth but color was very green, not like most brownies. Is it a Meanmouth?

    Can't get past watching Luiza and Darcizzle catch fish. won't learn anything, but could watch them catch fish all day.

    I've had 4 people send me the pic of that fish so far. Kind of gnarly looking compared to Bill's trout.
