  1. I'm so broke, I can't even afford to pay attention. .... huh?
  2. Amazing way to end an already great day. Glad to see you still hitting to parks.
  3. Be really careful with that last line. Heh, heh, heh.
  4. LOL, This is the way.
  5. Seen this last night. Great singer songwriter. I can actually remember the first time I heard of him. I was dating a girl and her dad sent us on a task. He wanted a Gordon Lightfoot cassette for his birthday. We were successful in finding the cassette. I learned of a new artist that I would enjoy for years to come.
  6. Earned a tear or two from me. Thanks for supporting and informing about this. I always appreciate the reports you share. You all are Angels in the eyes of your participants.
  7. And, because inwas so excited about catching fish, along with really wanting to get down the bank to the creek, I went back this evening. I plan to research each fish for their proper identification.
  8. Feeling much better after the last surgery. Decided to take a walk along the pond this morning. I'm not ready for real casting and walking swiftly so I only took a micro rig setup. I never realized this pond held Crappie. I really don't care to fish this pond, as it is well overfished. In the interest of my new discovery, I will not name it.
  9. Cody and I talked about a trip to the gulf. I wanna make that one happen. Had lots of plans, and was saving up time at work. Things are looking up now though. So, we got Johnsfolly up north east also. This thread really got me excited.
  10. Just thinking out loud here..... OAF FLORIDA-Fest 2024?
  11. What a great time. Thanks for taking us along. I follow a YouTuber who gets down to FL a couple times a year. Seen lots of cool catches, but that salvini cichlid is neat looking.
  12. Gotta make it look as if you're earning your keep.
  13. Awesome report, excellent pictures. Glad to see the bag getting use.
  14. Sorry, I seen this and forgot to respond. It is hit and miss. One day I feel great, well always some pain, but other days I get severe pain and can't move for a while. Got another surgery this Friday to remove some screws that may be affecting my I T band. I just keep trying to stay mobile. Uneven ground is still very difficult.
  15. The Crappie was caught on the yellow tailed wooly bugger imitation. The green sunfish hybrid was on something similar to the pink scud thing but without a bead head and a shorter tail.
  16. Oh, forgot that part. Two different flies that I tied. No specific pattern. Just imitating wooly bugger and a partial scud, I lost that one, so no picture. I'll upload the Crappie catching one tomorrow.
  17. I'm south of St.Louis, lots of damage due to.winds. I didn't see any severe damage, but lots of missing shingles and broken trees.
  18. New species, I believe it's a Red Ear Sunfish, just doesn't have a prominent red mark. Personal best crappie in a public pond I never knew held crappie.
  19. I can't say who is to blame. I'm walking. I wouldn't be if it wasn't for doctors.
  20. Got some interesting news today. My left leg is now shorter than my right. An insert was suggested for my left shoe to help balance my walking and reduce pain.
  21. We could have all responded, but many of us don't fish those two lakes. We are just nosey and like to read most or all posts. A favor was done with no response instead of alot of fluff and nonsense. I do hope you do well, and continue to post your results for us who don't fish those lakes. I like to see success all around.
  22. I know of a creek with good acces and many grass carp near St Louis, but not St Charles area.
