  1. I cant seem to get a good consensus. I replaced my impeller, and when I replaced the lower unit, I have forward slow, and forward fast, no reverse. I seen some videos, one mentioned a certain orientation of the gear shaft, but the prop doesnt seem to feel right when I spin it freely. Any takers? Wrench?
  2. I plan to arrive Friday evening, leave Sunday.
  3. I am still in. If there happens to be a "shutdown" I will not violate it. I do understand the risk, but I am also willing to accept the consequences. I will be quarantine for 2 weeks following. I work at home.
  4. Makes you feel funny, but it smells good. Lol (honestly I have no idea)
  5. I always imagined those people fished in the Mississippah River.
  6. I get fishing/small game and trout every year. Haven't hunted in 4 or 7 years, usually dont trout fish, until the last couple years. I've spent way more on way less. Mostly unused tackle.
  7. This was below the last post.
  8. I seen that ad last night.
  9. Picked up some jigs for jigfest, and a signature series jerkbait. Oh and I found some micro jigs. Kinda excited about that. Also picked up my plaque. Thanks @Phil Lilley AND @duckydoty Duane. It is fantastic. So, left to right, micro jigs I believe 1/256 oz, micro magnet, trout magnet, 1/8 oz Lilley's Jig, Ned Rig with Dave's Ned Head half ZinkerZ.
  10. I will bring toasted ravioli. It's a St Louis tradition.
  11. So, apparently it is @Ketchup's birthday. Lol. So a friend of mine from many years ago posted this today. I don't know if it our Ketchup or not, but what the hey. Happy birthday man.
  12. Wife wants to take the kids to SDC Saturday, seems they are sold out. Anyone have other options?
  13. So, let's for arguments sake, we accept that covid is less deadly than the flu, car accidents, office mishaps and playground accidents etc yada yada. That being the case, wearing masks, reduces the chance of flu also. Win. Working from home reduces traffic, which reduces the chances of automobile accidents. Win. Working from home reduces deaths from office mishaps. Win. Now. The world, whole world is dealing with the virus, not just America, and our election. We need to act as a world and try to eliminate this virus. How bad is it to wear a mask? Medical professionals have been wearing them for years. Years. They have been protected from many things due to wearing masks and washing hands. So the worst thing that can happen is we are a little bit healthier if we come together in mass numbers to try to eradicate this. But, for it to work, the whole world (which IS affected) has to work together at the same time. Maybe we can also get rid of the flu. Win.
  14. On everything. The news gets one thing, and you would believe it is going to change the world in a negative way. Any one thing. "Orange crops are twice the expected yield, nowhere to send the abundance of oranges. Seeds will overtake the sewage system, and the rinds take 8 months to decompose. Protect yourself, find out how at 10"
  15. 3 men are at a brothel. Name their nationalities. The one entering is Russian, the one leaving is Finnish...... The one inside? Himalayan.
  16. I used to catch these in my local fishing ponds as a kid. I will live happily ever after if I never catch another. They have no fight, dont grow large, they stink, and 90-95 percent of the time they swallow the hook. We called them "yellow belly" cats.
  17. Lol, no low ballers, I know what I have.
  18. I need a place, count me in at Mile's place.
  19. So, I remembered to bring the ruler today. I didn't have nearly the same luck as Friday night. I did catch a few, but not nearly as quickly . Now, for the 2 that got away. I have a certain kind of spot to look for and cast to. Thanks to @Smalliebigs. I knew of the spot, I found a fish near there Friday. I was trying to get the perfect cast, as @Al Agnew has mentioned, you have to get within a basketball hoop area. I got the cast, the water was slowly swirling against the current. I knew if there was a fish in this spot, this cast was gonna bring it out. It did. Funny how you think of the people who have given you clues and you get the opportunity to make it whole. Thank you all. I seen the fish come at my topwater, Torpedo, surprised? I got the hookset. While bringing it in, it spit the hook. Man! I knew this would be a contender. Might not win, but it would give someone a little competition. I tried for longer than I should have for another chance. Never happened. The casting was great, the fish was shy. I moved onto another spot. This spot is highly pressured. I had a few followers, once a group of smaller bass. I decided to switch up to a jerk bait. I chose white. Two casts, not where I wanted them. It was on! Man, I knew it was on. I seen the fish. It was huge. I was excited, I was scared to lose it. This was the biggest bass I have seen in person. No exaggeration. I was so excited. I was bringing it up to the bank, it still had a lot of fight left. I could not believe it, I was going to land this. Then, I watched it, as it got off of the hook. I watched it slowly yet quickly leave. I was shocked, excited, and disappointed all together. I'm satisfied, as I got to see it, dark lines, fat and tall. Great fish. Great day. I know, it's just a fishing story, but this one is mine. ....and completely true.
  20. Ok, so huge rookie mistake. I just want to post my catches, but I FORGOT my ruler!! And wouldn't you know it, I had one of the best outings ever. No, seriously. Oh well. Heres my invalid catches. Size 13 boot. Less than 1 hour. I am not upset, I could have went for the ruler, cost me about 20 minutes, but I'm glad I stayed. Top water, slack water, let it sit, small twitches, and slack. Good fights, they wanted to shake the hooks. Probably time to change them. They are the original, same lure you guys have seen for years. 5 different fish, 2 locations same creek.
  21. If you got room cody, I'll ride. I'm crankfest baptized.
  22. Count me in. Get busy living or get busy dieing. I need somewhere to put my cot. I am not picky. I also need a seat.
  23. I have had issues in the past similar to what Ness addressed. When I would go to certain restaurants and their wifi would be the source of internet, I had problems. Turned off wifi, using cell data, no problems. This pertains to my android phone. Maybe something to do with router security.
  24. Cool story bro. Lol
  25. The water was clear, the temps were great. I found a new section of creek to wade fish. The fishing was great, the catching not so much. I did have one take on a orange craw crank bait. Was not able to set the hook. I seen it, but I believe I was too quick to try to set the hook. I did not see any fish freely swimming, but I can only imagine the creek has to have many residents. I will be back.
