  1. Thank you for sharing. You will surely be happy there. Sometimes change is good, sometimes great. Happy trails.
  2. I love supporting the small businesses. I will also be a player. I use and love Dave's Ned heads, eh hem, "ozark finesse" heads. And can't wait to try my skunkworks lures. Should be able to tomorrow and Monday.
  3. You are teaching him well. He did not shoot outside of his comfort range, and you were conscious of the legal time. You are doing it right.
  4. Equal chances of drier and wetter conditions equals high humidity, and extremely heavy Dew. In my developed knowledge of meteorological studies. That and $5 bucks still won't be enough for a coffee at Starbucks. But trust me, I'm a lawyer. Lol
  5. That's a nice pan full. Very nice.
  6. Mitch, those are on part with the ones I have always caught and, seen. Only seen the blue ones in fish stores.
  7. Sounds like normal attire for some people around the rivers of St Louis. Lol. They are good people when you get to know them.
  8. I had a host harass me and my family about payments once. I wanted to pay with my card, and the host didn't have a card reader. I explained that I went to the cashier and they were closed. The host didn't believe me. I went on explaining that I pay my way, and was with my family, and we were not there to cause problems. The host came by multiple times asking for proof that I paid. The office was still closed. Bad experience with a power hungry person.
  9. I appreciate your intentions Ness. I can't say I could give 95%, but I would give a substantial amount to a few select charitable organizations.
  10. Sad. No one can say you didn't try. I hope you are able to find something else to keep your time filled.
  11. Sorry to hear that Bill. Glad you are keeping your spirits up. I have dealt with the PICC line a couple of times. Them antibiotics are strong, and so are you. See you in March. DC
  12. You got my vote. I could not agree more with the original post. Champ188 is a swell guy. Thanks again for all that you did for me. Along with the info. DC
  13. You guys will never get the correct answer front and English teacher. It is a math question. In algebra words are used to show value, or lack thereof. I know this is kindergarten, and algebra is not in their curriculum, just wanted to weigh in with my two cents.
  14. Sam A Baker is a great park with cabins. It may be farther than you want, but an amazing park.
  15. I am in the St Louis area. No really steady locations. Just wherever I feel that day.
  16. Sounds like a good deal to me. I only get down there twice a year if I'm lucky, but I would think that the regulars could benefit.
  17. Wow! Thanks Pepe. These sure look amazing. I will be using them this fall. I have a few modifications to do to the newly acquired canoe. Then it's on.
  18. Maybe my phone isn't working with it then.
  19. Dead link.
  20. Wow that really stinks. Glad it wasn't the throat. Get well soon.
  21. So how was the upper lake? I have fishes the lower one with no results. The creek surely looked way to skinny to hold fish that large. Been a while. Used to hunt squirrel there.
  22. Hey, me too. I live behind west city park.
  23. I still love to use the trusted "33". I have ventured away lately, but for water that is as transparent as mud, 10 feet deep, and may not have 10 fish total.... it is hard to justify the additional cost. Also when you have something that works, you use it. You guys on the other side complain about the water color in the big lakes, we are lucky to see a glowstick 10 inches deep in most of our water. That is what kept me from upgrades until recently. Harris gives many reports and asked how he could improve the use of his equipment. Give him some respect. DC
