  1. I would buy one.
  2. You guys really made me feel alot better about myself.... coom by ya my lord...
  3. So, why not run the same line all of the way? Dave explained his reason, why use fluoro? I apologize if these questions seem redundant, text is very unemotional. I am sincerely interested, as I have always just used straight line to the 'bait'. If using braid, but a fluro leader, why not use only fluoro instead? Side note, what makes the sensitivity so much stronger/ better? Thanks for all the replies so far. In the end, I know I will just have to expirament on my own. I would just like time have a leg up.
  4. Serious question, I read a lot about people using a leader of 'x' when using 'y' fishing line. I have read alot over the years, and other than dropping to smaller line for break offs, or using steel leaders I have always wondered why not use the "leader line" as your spooled line? I am sure that I am missing something. I currently have p-line cxl on my reels and only know the improved clinch knot by heart. What are your reasons for using a leader?
  5. Excellent. I need to get on the St Francois, get me a darter.
  6. I was given a postcard flyer with these on it. I really considered it, beautiful collection. I have collected lighters for 25 years, cheap and not so cheap. These would definitely be on my wall, just got a few kids to feed first.
  7. Brand new battery, group 27dc, always kept charged on a maintainer. The same with my previous battery, only replaced because it was 5 years old. This was the second trip out with this battery. Not sure of previous usage/ handling of the motor. I have had it for about 5 years, used it possibly 10-12 times. Is there any hope of salvaging the motor? Or is a new one in order? If new, I would like to go with a 55lb thrust at bass pro, unless there are any better ideas. I have $150 worth of gift cards from work bonuses to Bass Pro, the motor I looked at online was $219.00. Thoughts, suggestions? Thank you for the input so far.
  8. Why take away what was already there? Government can be so backwards.
  9. I can see it. Huge muskie, part of the tail missing. Something got ahold of it.
  10. I was doing some test runs of a new to me gas motor yesterday. There are a few things I need to do to it. So instead, we used the tolling motor to go up current. It is a 32lb thrust MinnKota not sure of age. We were in a gheenoe, I weigh approximately 230, my son about 60. The motor started to get very warm, but never hot. We ended up losing 5th speed, and temporarily 4th and 3rd. Reverse was out for a while also ( all 3 speeds). I am sure it's time for a new one, what recommendation would you give? We're we over powering it? I would like to keep it 12v, and family priced.
  11. My thoughts and feelings lean towards leaving them alone in the area's where they are endangered.
  12. Mike, "Pepe" , you are a great man. I can't wait for you to get your website up and running. All to charities..... all I can think of saying is God Bless You.
  13. You guys/girls are all awesome. As most know, I use my real name. This really is the only site I am a member of. This and select YouTube channels. Thanks for not being the people who are being discussed.
  14. Just wanted to say thank you for thinking of the safety of everyone. I have been secretly wishing that someone would pull the plug. I was really considering cancelling my trip. That was before the possibility of snow/ice. I look forward to seeing everyone at the rescheduled date. Thank you to all. Daryk.
  15. That is what sets you apart from the sloppy ones. Keep it up, it doesn't go unnoticed.
  16. Great job, awesome to hear.
  17. Really sorry for the loss of your friend. Hopefully you can get these to someone who will be able to use them.
  18. It's that time of year guys. Make sure you get it done before the OAF Tournament.
  19. They seem to be catering to the temporary trendy outdoorsman. The one who feels like they need to spend a whole lot of money, and look the part. Not the everyday outdoorsman, who doesn't have to fill the void of having every name brand showing. Just my take.
  20. That was a great deal ketchup.
  21. I will gladly sleep on the floor, but I won't be sharing the bed. Lol
