So, it apparently went over my subdivision, many pictures of it from others in the area of Festus. They all look similar to the others being shared. Are bank cameras being used to photograph it? I seen closer/cleaner pictures of the lunar eclipse. Anyhow, I was hoping Wish was delivering the solar panels I ordered a year ago.

No issues to report as of yet. We both have the same company, Travelers. My health insurance company is paying all of my medical bills, and subrogating from the auto insurance. -
Any plastics bait makers on this site?
Daryk Campbell Sr replied to Dutch's topic in Buy - Sell - Trade
@Pepewas doing baits. Not sure if he still does . -
Chicken bacon ranch pasta homeade. It was good but heavy. The garlic cheese bread is store bought. Just seen that this thread is over 10 years old. Wow, we've been here for a long time.

So it is time for an update, I guess. I was able to remove my walking boot last Thursday. I am now limping a little less some times and a little more other times. I am also able to slowly and carefully get up and down my stairs into the basement where my office is. It is nice getting back to somewhat normal. PT is showing the rewards and benefits. I do try to always do my exercises but there are just those days where the pain from over doing it the previous day really makes it impossible. I still have a long road, but I can definitely see the progress made. I haven't been using my wheelchair much unless it will be a really long day of walking. I am really grateful for the stores having the electric carts. Those really make a difference. I'm not able to walk up and down the bank to the creek, but have a local pond I can visit. I have been tying a few flies for bluegill, can't wait for spring. Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, positive vibes and just plain responding on here. It really makes my journey much easier. I really do appreciate it, alot more than I ever considered. -
Just a little residual ice in the shaded areas from Sunday night's weather. Roads are fine. About 30 miles south of St Louis in Festus.

Winter Fly Swap - Streamers
Daryk Campbell Sr replied to mic's topic in Fly Swaps & other Activities
CWF, when you first posted that you were gonna join and the name of your fly, I figured it was a hoax from Paul Dallas. My apologies. -
Looks like a pretty well attended event. Maybe even some crossover info and items to interest fisherman of other species. I seen where this year's Catfish Conference is now to be Catfish and Crappie Conference. We all really want similar things.

I'm near St Louis, if I can take them anything, please reach out.

Eh, arrowhead, bream, it's all the same.

Nah, he's been admittedly using others as well. I was a fan of Chompers before, as someone on here turned me on to them a few years ago.

04 Tahoe.....Sudden acceleration
Daryk Campbell Sr replied to fishinwrench's topic in Autos and Bikes
Just a tip for if/when it pr something similar happens. Throw it in neutral. Don't fight with it. One of those simple fixes that don't always come to mind. -
Glad to see more members joining. Jump in to any discussion, with questions, ideas opinions etc. That's what makes this site special.

I've watched hours and hours of Mad River Outfitters videos. He/They make it so easy, even I can understand. -
A good video you should watch

I understand. Thanks. -
I've caught 3. Thats all. I don't often keep fish. I was not able to do much fishing other than very local for a lot of years due to working 2 and 3 jobs and allowing trying to be a family man and father. Things are really turning towards my freedom now as my kids are 23, 16, and 12. Im not complaining, ive enjoyed the ride this far. Just now, I get to do my own things again. Its been a long time. I'll make it a point this year to catch and cook some crappie.

I've never eaten Crappie, I liked the walleye filled I had at Yellowstone Grill in Chesterfield, MO . Can't say I would go crazy to get it. I really prefer fresh catfish over all. Fresh bluegill and bass are really good also as well. Trout is good as well as salmon, tuna is a good ol standby similar to peanut butter and jelly.

I haven't heard about his passing until now. I enjoy their music. I'll have a listen this evening.

Official One Bass Tourney thread - March 11, 2023
Daryk Campbell Sr replied to Quillback's topic in Table Rock Lake
I can give a good reference for @dblades He was kind enough to let me ride on his boat a couple years back. He is a great guy. If someone can be kind enough to include him in their boat, it would be awesome. I don't believe I will make this one. My recovery is taking a bit longer than I would like. Not sure I want to try my swimming legs just yet. I would love to see pictures and read about everyone's experiences. -
Wow, sorry for your loss Ketchup. So glad you made the decision to open the case and use the bow. Great shot.

https://anglersemporium.com/products/owner-complete-microfishing-rig This shows a rig used in micro fishing that has colored threads that can be ran up or down your line to see strikes underwater. Not sure if this is something you are trying to duplicate. Bobber stops could also be used as strike indicators underwater.

Sounds like a tough, but good time. Glad to hear that Livie would give it another chance.
