  1. Movie reference. .. Natural Born Killers. Zeds dead honey. Lots of good lines from it, althoughI have never seen it from beginning to end.
  2. I find it was an interesting experiment. I live in the st Louis area, and only fish a few times per year, mostly the information found by me would never be tried. But I do appreciate all of the experiences that are shared. In a way, I am glad that your results did not show many people showing up, kinda disproves the beliefs of many who withhold all information, due to fears of some one finding the honey hole, or the next secret.
  3. Never thought crawfish were active in cold water. Guess I always thought they were the hibernating type. Interesting information, thanks for sharing.
  4. Cool video, thanks for sharing it.
  5. Thanks for the replies.
  6. From reading most of the posts all of you guys wrote, I believe most of you are on boats. Have any of you fished while on the bank, or while on foot?
  7. Great read. Thanks for sharing.
  8. ....They can't catch me winnin' that fishn' Derby, derby
  9. Hi Steve, I can't really help you on the jerkbait, as I have not had any luck myself. I am not completely sure on the best uses of them. The Ned is dicussed in full throughout the site. Just search Ned Rig, and you will see many posts on how it is used, and made. here is a good link. http://everything-smallmouth.com/ned-rig-fishing/ Remember to post what you find, catch or even if you don't. Thanks.
  10. Not looking for sympathy, but thanks just the same. I understand the rant, and appreciate it being brought to light. I don't believe it's about starting trouble or any motives to keep others out of specific areas. I believe it was cut and dry, 'if you CAN contribute, do'.
  11. Moskeeter, and oldplug, Just remember what makes this a forum is the give and take. If we all continue to only take, eventually no one will continue to give. I don't fish most of the time due to family, jobs, so on. But when I do, usually I get skunked, and still post what I did. I am not near the rock, but enjoy reading about it. Was down in April, caught one bass, my report is there.
  12. ...yeah, I just buy "hooks" couldn't tell you a size. Same with weights (sinkers), just buy a few sizes to have a variety. Where I usually get to fish, you can't see anything the waters are so murky. I just use a rig that I believe will be sufficient for the fish that I know are usually there. I taught myself how to fish without any mentor. I am now trying to learn how to catch something other than catfish and bluegill.
  13. I got mine today as well thank you wrench. Five star transaction. Much smaller than I thought, gonna have to target minnows for a while. :-)
  14. Great, glad you were able to sell it.
  15. Signs, signs, everywhere a sign....
  16. Yes Britts, how do you prefer to fish it? Moguy likes to let it sink, and slowly retrieve it. I live just south of St Louis, and the ponds are stocked for winter. Will have to try that out. I think I was casting, letting it fall, bringing it back up, repeatedly. Didn't work out for me.
  17. I have tried the Montauk specials, but no luck at Montauk. Any advice how to use them. Totally new on that type of fishing, anything would be appreciated.
  18. AWESOME! !! Sorry if that came out like a little girl.
  19. Awesome! May you be blessed in your life.
  20. "De-mystifying the wiggle wart". Search this term on this site. I think you will find what your looking for.
  21. On the laptop, I use i.e., don't have blocked ads, on the phone, I never see ads.
  22. Great information, thank you for sharing. Look forward to more. Daryk.
  23. So sorry for your loss. Really glad both of you had one last great time to make a fun memory. That's what life is about. Remember the good times.
