Cairo Illinois ? The bridge across the Mississippi ?

Those are pretty sick looking. ð Are you making strands of craft foam, or is that the fettuccini stuff?

I'm leaving for an exquisite flats fishing trip on a 92 year old impoundment here in about an hour. Seeking native temperate bass. I've been saving funds, tuning equipment, and looking forward to this journey since yesterday. I'm so excited to feel the Midwest sun on my shoulders, the wind on my face, and to witness the beautiful calming sunset as I cast and strip to those gorging bluish-silver rockets while sipping an ice cold MGD. Yes indeed, heavenly bliss is before me. ðĪ

I'm pretty good at predicting things, and I predict that y'all will not go to either Colorado, nor the East coast. You're more likely to go to Applebee's, or Dowd's Catfish house....and then to Wal-Mart. And that will be the end of it. ð

Question for Wrench
fishinwrench replied to aarchdale@coresleep.com's topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
Naw, I got disgusted with Henry Cowen's famous "Coyote" fly, and went a different direction. It worked ð I think I'll name it George (aka; lil'george). If we're ever fishing together, and you see me tying this fly on, you might wanna crawl under the console....cuz I'm probably gonna hurt you. ð It's kinda tricky to cast. -
Question for Wrench
fishinwrench replied to aarchdale@coresleep.com's topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
Yes, gear case fill/vent plug washers. They finally did something right by switching to those (stolen from Johnson/Evinrude) instead of the old "one time use" gasket material washers that Mercury had used for eons prior. They dyed them yellow, I suppose, just to be "different" ð.....and so they could charge an extra 1.00 apiece for them. If yours has the old soft gasket washers, be sure to take a pick, or a tiny screwdriver and make sure to scrape all of the old gasket material out of the recesses.....cuz it might leak if you don't. -
Needed someone to direct traffic last night !

Ya know, the thing I like most about forums is that you can just stop reading and go elsewhere when a topic gets boring, or simply does not interest you anymore. It isn't like a face to face conversation... where if you just suddenly turn and walk away, you are perceived as being rude. Just a little tip to assist with your happiness and sanity while visiting here. ð -
Lake Springfield giants

Very nice ! ð -
I'd love to know that too. Wow! ðē

Those are sweet ! I couldn't help myself.

It can't be a "perfect net" unless is cost over 160.00 we've already discussed that. Only "gapers and posers" buy themselves expensive nets. Quality nets must be aquired as gifts. Otherwise they are Bad Luck. Remember that this Christmas. ð

ð Funds are in the snail mail box. Glycolic? Hmmm ðĪ

Peyote? I'd say these boys were properly vaccinated. ð

I'll take both pairs of pliers. Can I hit your Venmo, or do you want a check?

Usually this doesn't happen until early October, after a few cool nights, but every evening this week beginning about 6:00pm out over large shallow flats.....the water just boils until the sun goes down. 86-87° water, no wind, and little to no generation. It always starts with the Bigguns, and then as it gets darker the fat ones back off and allow the sporty little eating size buggers to take over. What a fun way to end a hard working day ! ð A few intruders are among them Enough for dinner. ð Go get ya some! ð

Let me just take this opportunity to point out, to the ones who keep saying "Wrench is a crass and offensive prick, who is running everyone off"..... that it wasn't ME this time. ð So HA!!! There ya have it. ðĪŠ Personally, I'd trade all 5 of ya for just ONE Oneshot. ð

The ones that have the answers......aren't accepting any questions. They are pleading the 5th. So there's really nothing to discuss other than debating the possibilities......which are basically endless. The only thing we'll ever know for sure, is that 3 buildings were destroyed, and the Pentagon was damaged, and some innocent folks within the buildings along with some rescue workers were either badly injured or killed, and that the president and all of the "important people" just happened to be in a safe and sheltered place at the time. Oh, and that all the records from an investigation on a mysteriously missing 14 trillion dollars are now gone. Can't continue the investigation without those records. Darn!!! Everything else about the situation is subjective, and the powers that be intend to keep it that way. Every year when folks say....."Never Forget 9-11"......Well, it doesn't matter if you forget or not, because you don't KNOW what not to forget in the first place. ð -

As I said, I've washed my hands of the entire fairytale. If you start from the beginning, and stop as soon as the first assumption needs to be made.......You won't have even gotten anyone on a single plane yet. -

fishinwrench replied to stone9-7=2's topic in General Angling Discussion Archives
I was never convinced that there were actual passengers on any of the 4 planes. Not American passengers anyway. The number of publicly announced funeral/memorial services across the country afterwards, amazingly didn't add up. The names given of people on planes, who allegedly perished ....never had a memorial service scheduled or published. -

See, there ya go. ð Yeah, owl worshipers...... that's the ticket. Brainwash complete. ð Ya know, they eat children too. Raw! -

What they did, was manipulate a flock of certified Wacko's like Alex Jones and Jesse Ventura to head all the conspiratorial claims... ..So that anyone who didn't buy into the official story could be immediately slapped into the "crazy camp" and be forever ignored and given eye-rolls. It's an age old media driven thought control method, that somehow still works like a charm. And when I say "they", I'm not assuming it was 20 or so high ranking individuals. All it takes is 2 or 3 intelligent "chess players" with nothing else to concentrate on. And I'm guessing that those 2-3 are not names you've ever heard mentioned on the nightly news. Bin Laden, for all we know, could be a 100% fictional character. Killed and thrown off a ship.....no trial or anything....cuz "we" just knew. Right? Pfft. Bullbutter! -

Good point. I'd feel better about flying it if it could be removed from the county courthouses, state capitols, and the White house. Those pricks don't deserve to be flying it.
