    Ive read that same thing all the years i had an Opti. Most failures are from cold seizure. The metal heats up at different temps and causes the issues. There is mountains of info from Merc Techs online about it. My opti had 870 hours when i got it and i put over 250 on it. I always let mine warm up too. Mine was also a 75hp which didnt have near the issues as the 150+engines That being said i was always scared mine was going to pop from all the stories you here, coils, air compressors, oil pumps, and the list goes on.

    Thats a good day.That rain must have really cooled the water down, I saw 54 last Wed. before the rain up the James. And they were munching cranks shallow

    Who all pre ordered their new PP Troller only $4999 without a built in transducer. Ive watched a few videos and it really doesnt have anymore features than the others trollers other than reverse to clear out weeds. Like all the others they claim to be the quietest, most powerful... I do like how small and compact it is

    I havent seen many shad in the river this year,I assume that why im not seeing the birds. Im mainly speaking of the James: Flat area. Eagles are thick though

    I figured they would be munching today, caught a whole bunch of short fish with just 2 keepers. We were way up the James and Flat. We had a tournament out of Cape today and looked like most the guys who had limits did not go up the river. 16 boats and 14-5 to win today. Lots of fat spots weighed in, i think 3 or 4 LM over 4lbs

    I found a Black and Blue jig once, it looked new. That weekend i won a tournament with it and the next weekend another win with it.

    Ive only hooked a few on the stinger hook myself. Last year had a 5.02 on just the stinger so even if it is rare i always use one if im in a tournament

    The loop goes through the eye of the spoon then the hook goes through the loop and cinches down.

    Buy a dual console Bass boat, put one of those little Ski poles on the back and tell the wife its a Fish N Ski. You will be much happier and it will hold its value longer. I remember growing up a buddy had a fish n ski and it was horrible to fish out of, no where to put rods or tackle. Wasnt much fun to ski behind either, and rides the same as a normal bass boat

    I noticed this year around Springfield they actually would run plows 3 wide down the highways and even saw a couple of the plows they tow behind the plow trucks. I dont think i ever have seen that this far south mainly when i was working in West Kansas and Nebraska. I think overall they got things cleared up way better than i ever remember before

    I know what you mean, i went to get another one last summer and just didnt like the feel so i settle for a cheaper Shimano that works just fine for what i wanted

    I use them on a few of my set ups, I just like them so i dont bruise my stomach from setting the hook. Im a big fan of the Fenwick HMG's, i have a few and they are great

    My boat has a grab handle on the side of the console, it is handy. I remember when i had my tracker i would pull up on the wheel not thinking and the whole console would move back

    I drove by the new Whataburger in Ozark at around 4. double line in the drive through and cars all the way out and waiting on the road. Meanwhile the Wendys and Freddys were empty

    Looks like a fun day. I dont really understand how Livescope is making the lake busier. Livescope has been around for 5 years. I personally dont know anyone who has started going to the lake more because of electronics
