This is just great! 😔 We had to go home early in 2017 and don’t want to have to leave early again because we can’t find a ramp to put in on. We finally gave up in 2017 when port of kimberling’s ramp, parking and access road were underwater. Part of the campground was underwater too. We were at bull in 2019 when it started to rain and flood too. Went home early then too. Really getting old to get flooded out wherever we go. 😔🤬

Yes there is another gated ramp in the campground across the cove from the marina dock. They have a combination lock on the gate and give out combination to the campers when checking in. combination changes every month.

It has been awhile since we did a daily. Back then you had to stop in the office and get a coupon to feed into the machine. Now we get the yearly and is a card kind of like a credit card. We use the ramp in campground mostly as that is where we stay.

You have to pay to use the port of Kimberling ramp. You have to stop in the office(motel building) and get a daily or yearly permit. The road to the ramp has a gate across it. The ramp in the campground is just for the campers.

We don’t get much past shell knob or cape fair and not too far into long creek; so it’s not like we use the whole lake. 🤣

We are staying in Kimberling City. We do go all over the lake though. Our lakes are small so when down here we like to run the boat. LOL

Ha Ha; jokes on you this time. Wife and I will be getting to TR on the 22nd for a little over 2 weeks. With our luck from the past; water should be high and dirty by the time you get here.

Does anyone know of a place in the Springfield area that does 3D printing? My brother in Nixa has an older boat that has a plastic dash insert that holds the gauges. It has gotten brittle over time and broken so he needs a new one. Boat company doesn’t have any and said the place that made them went out of business years ago. He has the insert taken out and taped together. He is hoping someplace can 3D print a new one but is not having any luck finding a place.

Me and a buddy used a sled and it was still work to say the least!

Shot the biggest bodied deer I have ever shot. The pics don't do it justice. It was HEAVY!!! The rack is nothing special except for the mass; I can't get my hand around his bases.

For a big blue; go to Milford lake in Kansas. I have not personally fished for them but have seen tv shows and heard from people who have; there are some big blues in that lake!

Port of Kimberling has nice rooms, a ramp and dock. You can be in Branson in a 1/2 hour.
