  1. I was always a funny smart butt, so back in the first days of online gaming in the late 90's I stole Jester as my call sign from the instructor in Top Gun. During early 2000's I had a short lived competitive war gaming career( 8th in the world Mom! LOL). I also started buying HK firearms and began 3 gunning competitions when I finally hit the ripe old age of 21. One of my games would say you've been killed by username. So since I fancied HK weapons it would say you've been killed by JestersHK... My Avatar is Heckler & Kochs logo.
  2. Man that's awesome! Nice job! Those fish look wicked. You use big surf type gear I assume? Bet the fight was fun!
  3. Nice Walters RPS!
  4. Man thats a nice fish!
  5. Nice job buddy! Glad you got to at least see a sea monster! Guessing that was Phil's pet fish though right? Wonder if its the same one that was under there a year or so when he go pro'd them.
  6. I like where the stencil idea is going! Especially when these hit the OAF market and are traded like precious metals! I have a few baits with some guys MH initials on them... They get used, but I've said it before I'll prolly tear up a bit when I inevitably lose them LOL.
  7. Nice job man! Those are looking great! I dig the more greenish color too. The Rappala rainbow patterns always look a bit too blue to me. Yours are looking more like the few baby rainbows that I have seen down there.
  8. Agree with the others. Awesome jobs getting those kids out fishing! They are our future
  9. Nice fish! Thanks for sharing.
  10. Awesome! Beautiful fish there. I'm not big into fish mounts but a replica of that would look amazing over a fireplace or in the office.
  11. Sweet videos Phil! One day I'm gonna get up there... Looks like an awesome time.
  12. Nice one Ham! Thats a beauty for sure! Great read too! Waiting for your 200 fish day! Yes I'm jealous...
  13. Nice job! Bet ya didn't have much boat traffic to worry about. How was the fog? Nice Brownie too!
  14. CLoyd gives ya a great starting point. Like to start there myself allot of nights. If you are flyfishing you can also try stripping big wooly buggers. White mole hair leech patterns work well too and I think Phil still had some at his place last time I was there. If you bring a spinning rod you can throw sticks. I've posted up a few reports on how to fish them, but anything shiny or rainbow patterned work well. Especially with this flow I think you'd be on them with a little bit of water running. 2500-3500cfs is my favorite flow for throwing the jerk baits. You can throw jigs too. White works, but dont be afraid to throw darker patterns as well. Good luck and please be careful. Take a buddy if you can. I try not to wade at night by myself when the waters on, and watch the water level too as a few of us have had them crank it up with no horn. The 1:00Am bite is crazy, but totally real. For whatever reason at 1:00Am the fish just turn on. Not sure why, but its a weird phenomenon and something makes them hungry. It only last a little bit, but you'll see them all worked up.
  15. Agreed nice job on the release, and thats a heck of a fish there!
  16. Nice job man. Hopefully you can find some more stock. I gotta try some of these out at night time LOL. I'll take the rejects off your hands for a good price since they don't seem as picky at night on colors.
  17. We've rode the ducks quite a few times and almost took our little cousin out last week... Very sad, and hoping for the best for the survivors. Comments in that article said at least 6 fatalities on scanner traffic... Can't even imagine.
  18. Nice job man! Glad you were both able to catch fish. Also glad you got to check out the aquarium. I actually think I'll go back by myself and go through it backwards. Start at aquarium and work my way back. I powered through a hole in my waders all last week so I get your GF's pain LOL. Luckily it was just a pin hole but it still stinks and it gets cold down there at night. Still hope I can sync up with ya at some point so I can show you a few holes. Thats the other problem at night is you can't do a whole lot of scouting in the dark
  19. I think I I'll be adding some mouse patterns to my late night activities. Nice fish, and thanks for sharing.
  20. As Quill said green or gray seem to be the best for our waters. Blue typically for ocean or big water.
  21. I needed a good laugh after a really crappy day today... Knew I could count on you two lol.
  22. I'll fetch all day, swim like a fish obviously, but we're gonna need some ground rules and safe words when it comes to electricity! Say isn't this the same shock collar you talked about trying on Mrs. BH? How well did that work out lol.
  23. That's still a beautiful little fish. Looks about the same size as the jerk bait I was throwing last week!
  24. Great... Now I got to haul around a dang scuba tank on my back if I ever get to go hunting with ya! Pack mules have load ratings too ya know.
  25. Good luck today buddy! Can't wait to see some pics. Gotta try to get down there with ya at some point so you can show me how its done.
