Tough day here too Quill. Launched at Hickory Creek again. Fished from 10:30 -2:30. Had 8 but all dinks. Nice day regardless...

Put in at Hickory Creek today. Honestly was just out to run the boat- been a while. Fished from 11:30 -3:30. Ended up with 18 bass and a crappie. Nothing big, maybe 4 keepers. All scrubbing a 2.75 swim bait. Better than expected though..

Had to chime in on this one. I'm an eye doc and always looking for new cataract ideas. Just may have to recommend your treatment Wrench! LOL! Google "second sight for the elderly" and it'll explain your case. Amazing what's available out there for intraocular lenses these days. As far as fishing glasses go, Smith brand with glass ChromaPop lenses is my favorite. Driving glasses- hard to beat Randolph sunglasses.

Now that's a cool hometown name!- Bassfield! Should have good karma

Interesting indeed. Man I was hoping McClelland would've gotten some revenge. Ouch!

Had a similar problem at one point- drove me crazy. Ended up being a random fuse under the hood, not one from inside the cab like you would think. Good luck

Always had good luck staying at Trace Hollow. Nice, quiet spot. Rick and Connie are great! Not much to report- just wanted to be the 105,000 poster! Thanks for all the good reading material.

So back to lake turnover. A buddy and I are coming in this weekend for a 3 day trip. Not not asking for patterns or spots. Just wondering if anyone knows of any current part of the lake is in full fall turnover?

I was one of the few out yesterday too. Green fish were stingy. Decided to get outta the wind and tinker with some video game fishing in Joe's creek. Ended up catching a pile of 12 inch whites on War Eagle spoon 25-30 ft deep. Just bumping off the bottom. So if anyone is interested in some meat, there you go. Didn't keep any, just was fishing. Also, never done much striper fishing but watched a guy get pulled all over the lake by something huge down around Hickory. Very entertaining! Had to move on after about 15 minutes. Hope he landed that thing! Catch em all.

Saw this post and thought I'd chime in. I'm an optometrist by trade, but fishing is my passion. If any of you guys are interested, I have an optical shop in Springdale, AR. Been making custom sunglasses for a fairly long time and could probably steer you in the right direction. With so many lens and frame options these days, it's hard to narrow down. If you have a frame your comfortable in, just some new lenses may be the deal. Lots of folks have a problem with the "fishbowl effect" with RX wrap around style frames. There are some measurement tricks that I've learned through the years that seem to help. The key to good, comfortable, all day wearing sunglasses is minimizing outside reflection, refraction, and chromatic aberrations. I've been a dealer for several brands through the years and now currently carry Smith, Wiley X (safety grade for you hard hook setters), Amphibia (floating), Randolph (American made), and Redbull. Few others. Believe it or not, Redbull makes a solid pair of sunglasses. I currently wear Smith with the ChromaPop lenses. If you TR guys ever make it down to Beaver, stop in the clinic, mention you're an OA member, and I can probably save you a lot of money. I do it "in house" so my savings are passed to you. Tight lines! Springdale Vision Clinic- 3291 S. Thompson, Springdale AR 72764

Mainly Blackburn area south towards the rivers. Bass & crappie usually but always looking for striper. Think I've seen you a few times. Got a piece of property in Joe's creek. I'll idle over next time & introduce myself.

Awesome report & pics Dan! Those are some strait studs. Fairly sure we primarily fish the same water. Keep em coming.
