If I had all the time in the world I would float, fish, camp, hang and enjoy, but I work. It’s like you dropping in LOZ and hitting the areas you like and back to the shack for a beer.
Anybody else notice the name change of rivers on Google maps? For instance it has Spring Creek for the Gasconade and Brush Creek for the Bourbeuse River.
Yes, but not smallies. I've caught way more with the boat. You can piddle around the access while I cover miles of water. Good water too. Actually I have caught more big trout too. That's as much to do with less wadable water below the tail waters since min flow. Before I primarily wade fished and now I go no matter what the water level and actually prefer higher water.
Yeah but it gets me to places I can’t get to otherwise. I don’t like the noise but I like the access it affords me. Of course mines a lot smaller.
1752 with a 40 jet and it runS real shallow. Scary shallow. And it’s light enough to wrestle around if need be.
I agree. They oughta give you a gas card. My dad drug me all the country to catch some dink’s. I’ll take a tail water any time. Or the parks back in the day with 18” plus trout.
I have Blink Cameras. No monthly fee and free storage. thinking about putting one in the wood lot behind the house instead of my old game camera that I have to pull the card on. Additional cameras are $89.
No water bath. I have one but I'm not totally on board yet, except for the poached lobster. Which is a panty dropper BTW.
It only takes a minute or two on each side to get a good sear without burning the steak. Then into the oven at 350 to get it medium rare. Having another one tonight!!!!
