  1. I get on the Missouri out here occasionally for a joy ride. Maybe 15 minutes to the ramp.
  2. I have two apps on my phone for GPS. Speedbox and Speedometer. I've used them in my truck and they dead on to the truck and each other. Coincidentally they are dead on to my cycling app that tracks speed too.
  3. Man I love S-F!!!! Spent many summers there. Over night canoe trips, mile swim. Awesome!!! Nims Lake is (or was) a great fishing lake. Have fun!!!
  4. Not really anything to hold you up going up to Bull. I've seen bass boats all over down there. Flow on bull depends how far you can go up. Wouldn't run it in the dark.
  5. I bought mine about two years ago when my youngest went off to college. Before then I was in your boat so to speak. Until the kids leave for college or get that age it's kind of tough to set aside time to fish. Pond Prowler filled my needs for years before then. Jet has been the best fishing purchase I have ever made. Typically go every weekend but a few times I still have family things.
  6. Thanks for the reminder. My loser picks are in
  7. I bought a jet for that reason. Got tired of 3 hour drives each way at a minimum. But of course the Gnade keeps calling me for that 2.5 hour drive that I can't resist sometimes.
  8. That's my recipe! I heard you on Ray Eye a couple weeks ago. I was heading to the river and you were giving a Taney report.
  9. I just can’t stand em. I like just about all other fish. Never had talipia though. Probably won’t ever eat that. Blackened or fried Farmed cat is great!
  10. I bet that was awesome!!! How cool.
  11. That's a grimace??
  12. I was trying those the other day and it didn't and doesn't work for me either.
  13. They are surprisingly stable but cumbersome.
  14. Pond Prowler. I'm on my second one, an 8'er. Works great in small lakes with a trolling motor. Mine weighs a 100 pounds and put in the bed of my pickup. I drag it about 200 yards to launch in a small lake I have access to. I carry the troller and battery in separate trips unless my son is with me and we drag it all at once. The newer ones weigh more. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/Bass-Pro-Shops-Uncle-Bucks-Pond-Prowler-II-Fishing-Boat
  15. Buy a steak and a bag of charcoal. That works for me every timeđŸ˜†
  16. Nice! That’s where we stay. It’s a Great place.
  17. We had two levees break near us. If you notice in the upper left our rail spur stayed dry. We rail steel coil in to make pipe pile. They weigh 65,000 pounds each. The cigars you see on the ground weigh 3 - 20 thousand pounds each.
  18. Heavy equipment helps.
  19. Not all of them. We had to build our road into the mill up out of the water. We hauled in gravel and then laid steel road plate over it so trucks could get in and out.
  20. Saturday morning I was heading out early to fish and there was a fawn stuck between the high fences on a 4 lane. It was just running back and forth between cars. Glad I didn't hit it. They make a mess on a vehicle.
  21. He's currently nursing a bad wing.
  22. Unbelievable!!!
  23. His name is Paden Flippin. Is he related to Gary at Rim shoals????
  24. Dwayne Doty works at Lilley's Landing and custom paints jerk baits. If you are down there stop in and pick their brains. They're are more than happy to help you catch more fish.
