I do too. But when that fish hit the shad fluke he was out from the bank so we moved out after that.

I went out yesterday too. It's a small lake we fish occasionally. High and muddy. Can't fish a ned or jig due to downed trees all over the lake. But that cover really grows some nice ones. We caught a few early on a white fluke but definitely slow. I switched to a blue shad color thinking bluegill might be on a second spawn and caught the best fish of the day. Then I switched to baby bass and it was on for an hour. We quit at 11:30 with a bunch of 15 to 20 inch fish and some dinks. I figure the bass were keying on small bass because the absolutely wrecked that color. None of our fish were shallow even the high water was up in the bushes. All were caught out from the bank. Pete

I switch from the boat to the couch. Seriously I've never had good luck in those conditions. Tomorrow looks like it's going to be that way but I go anyway.

I agree. Near my house used to be a great pay to fish lake, then the County bought it and made it into a park. I went over there as soon as it opened and no fishing allowed. What the heck is that about? They build all these picnic shelters, bike trails and other sites for party's but no fishing. Even though it was a pay to fish lake in urban area it had great bass fishing.

I use the football pinch on type. They cast like nothing is on the line. I HATE that they are not movable. Half of one is great for fishing a single midge or scud.

Running your tank low is not good for your fuel pump either. The fuel is what keeps it cool.

I'm thinking of heading there soon with my Pond Prowler. I've been there dozens of times but we were riding 3 wheelers back then.
