  1. Dutch, I have a much older AGM would love to trade, sure I have a core or two if we can make a deal. Those sound better than mine.
  2. unfortunately I am afraid he may be the more mentally stable one......😇
  3. As @Dutch says Aurora Canvas is not cheap, but good. @Terrierman and I have used Deans in Mountain Home with great results, (have one built in 1987 that still is perfect) about half the price of Aurora Canvas BUT they are currently covered up building seats for Vexas. A former part of the Deans family makes custom covers most of the locals use http://www.bridgeportcanvas.com/ down side is each is custom built and they are in Mountain Home. Last cover I dropped the boat off at 8, went fishing for the day with one of the locals from this forum, picked boat up at 5, came home fits perfect.
  4. There is a guy I fish with often. One spot on a tailwater, we use a 40# anchor, and one of us runs the motor, to hold the boat in place, while the other casts. When we get a fish on the motor man has to pull the anchor in addition to running motor while the fisherman fights the fish into his backing. We do wear PFDs but......a bit iffy for a couple of old guys......
  5. Wonder how long this will last
  6. Grandma resembled that remark, poor old #4 had a massive heart attack shortly after they went to bed..... If she would have just left him to watch the news he would likely still be here. Took the undertaker a lot of work to fix his facial expression......
  7. Santa is the only male I see in this photo..... good odds. My 94 year old Grandmother (who outlived 5 husbands) said "They all look the same in the dark"?????
  8. Sometimes there is a jerk neighbor in the area that needs every coon, groundhog, cat, opossum you can trap....just make sure they live far enough away they do not return......
  9. Finally something to look forward to.
  10. As a resident your options may be more limited?
  11. JD need to rethink your observation. Lost a good longtime friend this past year to Huntingtons. First, nurses are strictly off limits, that will get you restricted to your room and restraints, focus on other residents. The ratio is 8-9 to 1 so odds are good. Whisky, that is why you take your younger friends fishing now so they smuggle a supply. Cigars? Do not know, but my buddy could shotgun a pack of cigarettes in about 15 minutes. Just sayin that is my take.
  12. Hey my friend you are more than welcome. Enjoyed it. If not for deer season and some since then health issues we would have went some more.
  13. Hope they have a permit....the boys in the ivory tower will write them up
  14. as @duckydotysays "Them fish don't care, they are already wet"
  15. Read it last night, IMO not enough article on a Great Guide, Great Guy....... Does not do him justice. But enjoyed it .
  16. Dang @Steinhate I am going to miss seeing you, need an account of your adventures the past few years. Maybe your next trip to the area we can get together and fish. Glad to see you back my friend

  19. Unfortunately guys I am out, maybe next year. Good to see Stein back in action.
  20. Dutch, I run them in my river jet, like @Ham and @BilletHead I have converted to the cables rather than straps If we can get a warm day or two we can run to Taney or ??? (the James is so low) and you can see what you think. g
