  1. After input from @gotmuddygoing to use lithium for TM and go AGM on starter, from what I read IF the lithium hits certain levels it shuts itself off for protection, which can limit the electronic fuel injection which could be dicey running a jet if occurs at wrong time. Will be listing my MK onboard charger as replacing for the lithium's.
  2. @Johnsfolly you might want to keep the ribs, we smoke them. Look kinda like the Flintstones when eating, until I started sawing them in half. Darn good eatin.
  3. I recently spent $6,500 on this registered Black Angus bull. I put him out with the herd but he just ate grass and wouldn't even look at a cow. I was beginning to think I had paid more for that bull than he was worth. Anyway......I had the Vet come and take a look at him. He said,, the bull was very healthy, but possibly just a little young, so he gave me some pills to feed him once per day. The bull started to service the cows within two days……. all my cows! He even broke through the fence and bred with all of my neighbor's cows! He's like a machine! I don't know what was in the pills the Vet gave him ... but they kind of taste like peppermint.
  4. Talked with a guy who is starting his 250 opti with it, no issues, I will have 30 days to try and send back. Pulled the trigger on 3.
  5. Thanks, I did look at those, but twice the price pushes me away, but not bluetooth monitoring. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09CPWMZBZ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AL3O8PEXUQHUR&th=1

  7. Was not clear, the dual purpose Dakota 60 ah is 600, the 100 ah straight lithium is 300. Of course if go to lithium need new onboard charger, but pretty sure my TM batteries are going there as soon as these fail. I may just order the lithiums for TM and give it a go if works ok, if not use one of the deep cycle for starter til it fails. Thanks for your helps. We need to fish sometime, IF it ever cools off.
  8. The odyssey is 200 the lithum is 300......
  9. Deep cycle spins my 50hp Tohatsu 2 smoke fine it is a 50 hp head 25 jet Tohatsu.....
  10. Thanks Cody, Dakota lists a couple dual purpose but twice as high as what I am looking at and only 60ah, I run two fish finders on it, SI at back and just down up front. I do have a small agm guess I can try.
  11. Thanks, Cody, the lithium folks are happy to provide amp hours, but avoid current ratings. Almost need to just try one....
  12. Had a cranking battery failure Friday on my river jet. Moved a tm battery over and carried on. (as @fishinwrenchsays don't need crap in the way fly fishing) Stole deep cycle out of bass boat for Saturday. Deep cycle spins my 50hp Tohatsu 2 smoke fine. I would like to go to lithium for all three batteries just for weight. Guys who have bit the bullet seem to like the lithium TM batteries. My question is will one work for a starter battery on my little motor, I know the guys who have tried on opti's say a no go. Any insight appreciated. I am looking at 100 amp hour lithium. Thanks in advance.
  13. If I did not already have one would be all over it. Mine works great, I have it in the back window of my 5th wheel so I can watch my boat when double pulling. Had one ten years. I am tempted to buy for its actual purpose.
  14. Good lord how old are you? They have apps to measure everything simple fix. I have Jimmy working on an app for that, yes I know he does not stand very close to a razor......will make sure you get credit for invention. LOL
  15. That looks like a Great time, precious memories forever, the best.
  16. Give the guy at HITCH2TRAILER.com they are on E. Prince Ln in Springfield, (417) 830-9032 He worked for and helped design many of the Bass pro trailers, very knowledgeable, helpful and has lots of parts.
  17. Paddling vest is much better, NRS is where I got mine. If your kayak is a sit in avoid inflatable they can inflate and wedge you inside the boat. I have inflatable in the bass boat but never the yak or canoe.
  18. or your name and address, (like a trotline) I use those little address label stickers you get in the mail begging for money on my spider rig set up.

  20. @MOPanfisher is the Pomme guy. From the reports I read you can boat and fish but be sure to rinse fish off most beaches are closed. Think I would look at other options https://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/Media/News-Releases/Article/3052762/pomme-de-terre-lake-shares-public-health-update-concerning-harmful-algae-blooms/
  21. If I had the know how would start a go fund me page to get Marty a VW micro bus and Pat a nose ring and tattoos they would be great stewards of the resource.

  23. Great photos Thanks for sharing
  24. One other more humane option is to live trap them, they like watermelon. I have trapped many, there is a guy a mile or so down the road I do not care for, so I haul them down there for his enjoyment.........
