That’s awesome. Only been doing it about a month but have a long ways to go. Trying for 1985 football weight which is still much bigger than most of you. That’s about another 55-60 pounds.
I think the whole keto calculators said my carb intake should be around 30 per day but I've been going for as close to zero as I can. It's just hard when I'm traveling for work and I have been doing a bunch of that lately. If you go to a restaurant it's usually pretty simple but I hate going out to eat alone. I'm not starving by any means but I sure could use some pasta (with peas please), some bread, and about a half dozen orders of french fries!!!
I understand the false warning thing and the way the meteorologists blow everything out of proportion for ratings. But the Joplin tornado was extremely deadly because it was a monster of a storm that hit a heavily populated area. Most of those people were in trouble even if they did take the warnings seriously.
Same. I've been to several Carolina Hurricanes games for work and even though I have no idea what is going on most of the time I'm totally impressed with how much work it actually is. Those guys are up and down that ice the whole game. TV just doesn't do it justice.
You guys are killing me with the pasta shots and all this talk of bread. I'm trying the keto thing and I miss the bread especially. Don't miss the 20lbs I have lost though.
If the numbers are good then the size should be good too. You just have to find what makes the bigger ones bite. They didn't get that size acting like the smaller ones.
Braid is just more sensitive than mono. You can really tell it when fishing on the bottom. But since you are almost exclusively fly fishing it wouldn't be something you would notice.
I do use braid for leader/tippet in the salt. It is more abrasion resistant on those sea creatures. Just one of those fish can destroy a mono or FC leader, but the braid will hold up for a while. There are some steel leaders that you can use but braid has worked well for me.
I don't think so. There is just no benefit in potentially killing yourself for a video. Those guys had a video because douchebags like that feel they need to video everything.
You can't fix stupid. Reminds me of the people that need to be rescued or recovered every time the local streams get over the road and they think their car will make it.
The Weather Channel was doing the exact same thing. I was watching and worrying about my girls while I was safe in Atlanta.
You would have thought that SW MO was being blown off the map.
Unfortunately if you hit one you are always going to be in the wrong. You just have to really pay attention when running any body of water,
This is coming from the guy that has hit the 60’ sycamore. And I also almost ran over a full-size boat full of people one day that I couldn’t see because of the sun. I circled back to apologize and take my asschewing. They were surprised by that but not so much that they didn’t let me have it.
I do care. I've been doing a little of it lately since my wife likes it. But I really need to get into and make her something nice like that. She hates onions and water chestnuts but the rest of that she would love.
I only have four clothing options for when I'm away from work. T-shirt, hoodie, jeans and shorts. Full disclaimer: Those, to my daughter's horror, are cargo shorts.
But those are the only options. At this point I'm not changing.
Sounds to me like all these trophy carp are being raised as pets and then sold to some moron that puts it in his pond who then spends all his time trying to catch it so he can Instagram it and everybody goes oooooowwww aaaawwwww. No wonder they are pissed when somebody comes along and shoots an arrow through it! That's $625 down the drain! Oh well. They should have bought a donkey. It's illegal to shoot an arrow into a donkey. And they are easier to catch, you take care of them and they will pretty much follow you around like a dog. They can haul stuff. And since they are so much better looking than a carp you still have a shot on Instagram.
