  1. Permethrin. I spray it around my bee hives for hive beetles, does not affect them. Clothing makers have been soaking insect proof clothing in it for years and it lasts thru washing for ticks. http://npic.orst.edu/factsheets/PermGen.html But, if it kills something, It is probably not all good for everything else. I use granules for ants, different critter. You need something for them to pack back to the nest to kill them at source.
  2. The English have been gardening a long time.
  3. Red High Temp is what I run in all of my trailers. Sticky, and does not break apart under higher temps. If the bearings don't heat up running at 80, the tires will help them warm up. Seems to keeps its red color when wet, does not emulsify like some of the gray greases do when water is added and become milky.
  4. Fat female looking for a good meal.
  5. They have it listed for sale. I assume it is still business as usual. Still early season, may have to catch them at the right time.
  6. That kinda stuff is never in my barns when I go thru them.
  7. Never had a problem with the squirrels. Did pop a distempered coon while out working the bees today. Neighbors dog had it bayed, had to poke it with a stick so I could get a clear line of fire and not hit dog or pool. Not really afraid of anything, pretty messed up. I keep a wire mesh over my raised beds to keep the feral cats in the neighborhood from crapping in them. Nasty sob's will crap in the loose dirt if you let them, makes a nasty mess.
  8. First pick of Lettuce and Spinach tonite. 5 strawberries to boot. Planted the cherry tomatoes, grape tomatoes tonight. Peppercini peppers and bell peppers planted also. Snow peas should produce in the next week or so. Cucumbers, green beans are up that I planted a few weeks ago. These cold nites are setting things back weird this year.
  9. What did you get?

  17. That upper end is a mess. Could not find a way thru the stumps up there last fall. Now, a buddy has a place there. Gonna have to take my lumps and learn it. Stick steer jet boat may be what I take next time. Why is it low now? Working on the dam?

  19. They have been down here for a few weeks. They hover around my outside cameras looking at the red blinking light.
  20. Center consoles would hang up on some of the stuff my jet boat goes thru. Have scuffs on top of both boats we use on top of motor cover. I like a low clearance boat. Cc good for open water I guess.
  21. Then I would have to hand dig a hole. Did I mention he tore up my tractor?
  22. Drove out there last Friday knowing I would not get there till Sat morning and cleaned them up. Worthless waste of skin pain in my a. Tore up my tractor, drives thru my wet fields looking for sheds. Too lazy to walk or work. Just sets around and drinks most of time.
  23. I caught my thieving brother n law raiding my stash this morning before I got out there. Has a whole handful
  24. As we drove thru 1000000263.mp4
  25. NWS Reports EF2, 130mph winds, 150 yard wide path. 22.3 mile path. 27 minute duration. I drove it out today. Went out to the farm after work with the wife. Pretty wicked. There were some places it looked like it may have been 2 funnels on ground near Grassy. It lifted somewhat in places. But it came down hard in the little creek valley that runs thru Glen Allen and started really grinding. Snapping trees off at the base of the trunk. I have a co worker who has family at the start of it in Grassy, his 90+ uncle was wakened by a big oak tree dumping into his bedroom. Both did not get injured and there it was mostly flattening trees. It topped the hill and ground buildings up pretty bad. Then lifted some until Glen Allen. After Glen Allen, goes thru areas that are only serviced by gravel roads then came back out in Scopus area and did some heavy building damage there. I think it broke up after that. Still out of power out there most places, but cleanup was coming along. We ate supper in Marble Hill at Jay's BBQ where they were treating the cleanup workers to free meals.
