  1. HA! Ten more years and you can say that about me đŸ¤ª.
  2. Love both of those! thanks Ness!
  3. Again Bingo, this was about throwing bigger streamers to larger trout and possibly stripers. And again, I am not using something for 3.39 or 6.50 for big fish. I would gladly stand beside someone with the same casting ability as me with those lines with their choice of rod and my lines with my choice of rod with six-to-eight-inch streamers.
  4. Let us know how you like the north pole, Glen.
  5. Me too and I have the equipment .
  6. Good Job guys! Looks like liverfest is one for the books.
  7. I think @Devan S. Was talking about bigger game. You won't see me using $ 3.39 fly line for big game.
  8. I believe this for sure if you use too light of tippet for trout. It doesn't stop me from pointing directly at where the line is in the water. Go with bigger tippet.
  9. The sky is falling type?
  10. Are you kidding me? Sure you can.

Yep, your stuff, Back in the fridge. Took about a week to get back to par after a two-year hiatus.

Your gifted sourdough starter still going @ness! I think I am going to dehydrate that starter utilizing the weekly Dis guard.

    What's Cooking?

Smoked hybrid white sauce pizza. Smoked some hybrid odds and ends. Found a pizza recipe for smoked fish with a white sauce. Mighty fine eats. One thing it called for was frying some capers in olive oil. I thought whaaaat. They kinda opened up. I had to take a taste test. Good snacking. Interesting flavor. Pizza was a hit and will be doing it more. Starting the smoke the fish. Ran it at 180 and added the smoke tube for extra smoke in the trager. Pie loaded just into the trager, Out of the trager and ready for after cooking toppings, Served up. Still doing the sourdough weekly, incorporated some of the garden rosemary. Nice add. Like it. First picture placing in the trager. Second picture finished and cooking .
  14. Good job Dan!
  15. Oak mites are bad here and big black horse flies are starting now pinging off vehicles as we drive down the dirt roads. Ticks less as are the chiggers. Getting a bit of moisture that might be changing that. One major thing we did see this gardening season were less insects in the garden. Not a tomato worm at all. Very few shield bugs either. Squash bugs were minimal. Bees like the squash blossoms so I do not like to put anything on the squash plants. I tried to remove as many eggs off the leaves as I can. What did hatch never exploded into masses of beetles. It was a different year for sure.
  16. Congrats Davy boy! That is one pretty fish.

Good job, I hope you had the tunes cranked up on the headset. I bet that was needed also.
  19. I'll take them Dutch.
  20. You can't make this stuff up.
  21. Laughing of course. N 2 O
  22. I think you all are way out of your element here on this post!
  23. No one gets PFAS at my house!
  24. Isn't it neat to be bitten by the flyfishing bug? I like to see you enjoying it. You will never be over this "silliness" as you call it. The catching is your goal, but the process is an important part of it and to me it can be the most fun part. Look at you, tying your own flies, tinkering with your gear, searching for the right rod, reel and line combination for your target species. Research and travel. All in all, you spend more time in the process than the catching by far. Look at you go friend!
