Oh how I despise armadillos, Yes very nocturnal and hard to get rid of. Finally got them slowed down at least in the yard and now that this has been brought up it will now be jinxed! Would 6# or even 30# line made any difference? You got it landed even though it was snagged in the middle . More of a fight on light line. You see some fishermen like the challenge of the fight on light line while others like to set the hook that crosses the fishes eyes, jerks it's jaws into the boat for bragging rights. BilletHead
