    What's Cooking?

You know repeats are not a problem, I don't mind looking at your dishes again and again. You all do ours. Wood duck grilled over charcoal and apple tree wood. Had one die but it is still working. Sweet corn we put up and giant baked potato cooked on the trager pellet grill. Pat has been making Blue cheese dressing from scratch. Besides the butter my potato had that dressing. OH my goodness.
  7. No they are not sterile. They are no different than autumn olive, Bradford pear and other things that are now becoming invasive. Man makes mistakes and will always make mistakes. Just like common European carp. I know you don't like bow fishing or indescrimate killing of critters. Sometimes you have to do what needs to be done. Pest control. No different from spiders, termites, mice and rats, starling and house sparrows. You have a big heart Ham. One of the many things we like about you.
  8. You got it Jeff. Prayers sent.
  9. The good old days! I will spare you the PETA videos 🤪
  10. You have a pretty good chauffeur. We have met her. Shoot I let Pat do most of the driving when we take our pilot. It's more fun telling her how to drive. I shut up the first time she asks me do you want to drive?
  11. Good trip report and more for your list!
  12. Speaking of getting into your head how about a little ear worm,
  13. Same person that has been painting squirrels is expanding his artwork.
  14. I have known you were going that route for a while. Nice goal to work on. Native fish or not a goal to complete.
  15. Love this Ronnie. At that age there has been no outside negative influence yet. Still innocent. Great picture and thank you.
  16. The force is with Master quillback.
  17. In lake Havasu they get giant from eating quagga and zebra mussels. Records keep falling from that body of water.
  18. It's when your friends are giving you smack and a ration of crap you know they like you. I never worry until that back and forth banter stops. It's then that something is wrong and you need to start worrying.
  19. And we know it comes straight from the heart. 😁
  20. It just was a plan to get some fish to finish out the second challenge of the native fish challenge. Goofy as it is to some you know the deal Devan. We love a challenge and the story of the trip that goes along with that. Gets us out of the mundane Midwest trout fishing. Not that we don't take advantage of that or look down on it. There is no comparison from fish where we live to where they live and belong in native ranges. I do wish Montana would get off their method of thinking in the challenge.
  21. New Mexico, Arizona, Montana and Wyoming. It's all about native trout. I need to get this thing together. Just dragging my feet.
  22. I may have confused you, Cody. The origional fridge in the camper is the old Evaporative type. You might ask others about how well they work on 12V but our dealings and what we have read is that it only maintains some. Our Friend @grizwilson has the new type in his camper. I could go that route and replace mine with that type, but I would rather go with these smaller models and use for dual purpose not only camping but for day trips, Motel trips or grocery shopping. We are totally sold on this new type of 12V fridge.
  23. From so much spring and early summer water of overabundance. Now in Vernon county back into a drought situation. If you lit a match and dropped it in the yard it would burn us out and the surrounding area. Irrigation is running on everyone that has it to water beanfields. Ponds and lakes are being pumped dry.
