  1. Cedar Ridge to Hi Point. Baits… whopper plopper, spinnerbait, crankbait, buzzbait, 0. The rest on shaky and Ned. The day started with a white bass and 2 small eyes on Ned. Later 2 small bass and 1 keeper on Ned. Several hours no bites. One 30° bank 7 on green pumpkin shaky 3 keepers, Ned 0. Last bank was big rocks shaky 0, California craw Ned 8 with 4 more keepers. So the day ended up with 1 keeper eye, 1 keeper white and 8 keeper bass. Strange start and basically only 2 producing banks several miles apart.
  2. Nephew at the least
  3. We have one that I know of who works for the USACE and I’m pretty sure one used tp work for MDC. I spent quite a bit of time in the farming industry so I have an inkling of what you are talking about. Good luck on your quest.
  4. Those bass also moved. With the 1 1/2’ drop I went from 33 with 9 keepers to 4 with 0 keepers. I’m moving my operation to the Little Sac on Monday to see if things are different.
  5. Last week my wife read where Stone County was closing swimming areas on the James for the same reason.
  6. Yes it has been high. We’ve had a lot of rain. State Park even pulled the courtesy dock at Hartley. It is back now. My information is the 24/7 draw down was for a maintenance issue. They have it about where they want it and are slowing down generation. I am hoping for some stability as I will be back bass fishing on Monday.
  7. I don’t know about the Dodge. I had a Duramax for 8 years because I needed it for long distance hauling a heavy fifth wheel trailer. It had pull power but when we quit going south I couldn’t wait to get rid of it.
  8. I have not been below the 215 bridge but I talked to a couple of guys on the ramp at Hawker. They have been trolling for crappie and walleye. With the way the lake is going down they said they have been struggling the last few days. I can understand that. A week ago we caught 33 bass with 9 keepers and yesterday I struggled to get 4 with 0 keepers.
  9. You never know what they will have. I was looking for a Curado 150 DC none of the regular places had one. Midway showed up and I ordered from them.
  10. Ken the only place where I have seen loose motors is at Bass Pro in the boat area. You might give them a call 417-887-7334.
  11. One day mud minnow out shined all others, last trip new money was tops.
  12. I use the TRDs mainly because my daughter bought me 2 pkgs. of every color BPS had. They had 22 colors.
  13. Good day there bud. Ned is all that I can get them to hit. With the water dropping they may pull back and other stuff might start working. I am getting tired of this fairy wand fishing. I want some spinnerbait fish.
  14. Hey you are getting out. I noticed that they are dropping the water quite a bit. I’m afraid the bass will pull out and mess up my pattern.
  15. Mine were also. I tried 3 varieties and couldn’t stand any of them.
  16. They are usually tough. It took me several sprayings with Roundup to get rid of them in my garden.
  17. Find another way. MO DOT will be closing the bridge oner Sons Creek on Monday. Complete surface replacement taking as long as three months is what they are saying.
  18. If you ain’t usin it it’s just crap in the way is how I see that kind of thing. Personally I prefer a bed, flushing stool, and a shower even if it costs a few bucks.
  19. Nice trip. When I used to fish Beaver I could only catch largemouth. I didn’t even know that it had smallmouth.

    Saw Saw?

No the correct way would be poke, though it has a lot of other connotations. Pok is a geographical location.
  23. Umm didn’t that political forum get shut down?
  24. Precision Sonar might have something or Poly Fab in Springfield might make you something. They made a couple of items for me.
