I work from home on Fridays and might go there this Friday. Ahh, right across from my least favorite dealership West of the Mississippi. I'll have to try it out, thanks! “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold

Mitch f
Saw this in sale at Dierbergs in the “Deal Isle” for $1.50. Always loved going to a Hibachi grill and get that steak with this type of sauce but never saw the sauce in any grocery store. I’ll have to try the hibachi at home and see if this experiment works! ness
Here's a follow up on this stock I made a week or so ago. First off, they didn't have the bones I wanted at the store -- I wanted the big knuckles and joints, etc. That's what I've used before, but I settled for the femur slices you see in the pic here. The missus and I both thought the stock wasn't as good as before. I went back and found an old post I did on this and grabbed the pic. Get these kinda bones! All that said, I'm not saying it was a bust. It's just that the bones do make a difference and the big ones had more meat, sinew, collagen, flavor, whatever. rps and Johnsfolly 2 John

ness
Did the Japanese joint Friday night. Very good, as usual. And, they’re not telling on the salad dressing. I guess that sauce is Yum Yum. Anyhoo, chicken and dumplings tonight. Ryan Miloshewski, Quillback, BilletHead and 1 other 4 John

curtisce
were the mussels from a can or did you marinate them yourself? The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check

My daughter sent several interesting tins of fish for a gift.
