Here is the final.product, with some frosting. Very soft and pretty darn good. If I can do as well tomorrow and have warm cinnamon rolls with home made chili, well it will be a good day. However won't be surprised if I have to stop in the middle of things to go fetch a deer. Again not really a problem. They look spectacular!
MOPanfisher Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Wife said, they are ooey gooey and delicious. Will make a fresh batch tomorrow to go with chili. Homemade cinnamon rolls have a short shelf life at least around here they do. Johnsfolly 1
Gavin Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Waiting, this stuff has been sitting 185 for 2 hours. Needs to break & run up another 20 degrees. snagged in outlet 3 and Chief Grey Bear 2
MOPanfisher Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Well as expected cinnamon rolls had to be set aside for a bit. Had to punch the dough down while I retrieved a deer. Now to the obligatory cwd check station and back home. I will say that dough smells amazingly good, setting covered near the stove, making me wish I had made a second batch of dough for a loaf of bread. Fortunately the rolls are back on track now and really to roll, rise and bake. Somehow over the last 20 years our roles have reversed during seer season. Well except for having to retrieve, gut, skin, and process the deer.😊 Johnsfolly, Flysmallie, BilletHead and 5 others 6 2
fishinwrench Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 A $46.78 pot of chili is in the makings. This stuff is amazing. Best chili ever! But it ain't cheap to make. Terrierman, BilletHead, Johnsfolly and 1 other 4

BilletHead Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Duck egg rolls, Been quite awhile since we made egg rolls. Did some searching and found a recipe. All I can say is that they rock. Five of them just went into my pie hole. Made a meal of them, BilletHead fishinwrench and Johnsfolly 2 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!"
