Yep, I knew it.   You aren't allowed to share a plate of fried fish and hush puppies with another gal either......even if your Sig-O doesn't eat fish. 

Now you can gift them RAW FISH..... that's ok.... but bygod you don't cook it and deliver it to them while it's still warm unless you wanna sleep in the recliner chair for 3 nights.  Been there/Done that. 😏

I have a soup in the slow cooker this afternoon. I am using the turkey stock made with the roasted bones of last weekend's roasted turkey. I added onion, carrot, celery, tomatoes, spinach, garlic, tomato pate, white wine, spices and herbs to the stock for now. Near dinner time I will add ditalini. I picked up a take and bake baguette to go with the soup. Nancy insists on a salad, so cucumber and tomatoes will serve once more. Good living in the Ozarks!

P.S. Everyone should experience what I went through Friday. I put the roast turkey, the smoked turkey, and the vegetarian dressing in slow cookers to warm and served them in the buffet we prepared for the students and their teachers. They left not a shred or a crumb. Little things count for much.

Split, brined and smoked 2 turkeys for our Church thanksgiving dinner.  Put them on this morning early, smoked for 5 hrs then bagged them, terrible just terrible I tell ya.  During the wait time my wife was making cranberry tart 4 hing and some pecan bars, and I got bored and decided I would make some bread, 2 loaves, one for supper and one went home with daughter and grandson.  Currently awaiting my turn to go work clean up after the church dinner.  Did get to take grandson for a ride to see where Nanna shot her deer at, and mulch up a few leaves, he is my buddy.  No pics of anything, so maybe I only dreamed it?
