Johnsfolly Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 We had corned beef and cabbage as well. That was after getting out for an hour of fishing. Caught redbreast, pumpkinseed, and green sunfish, yellow and white perch and white catfish and brown bullheads😀. Not a bad St Pats day! rps, fishinwrench, N9BOW and 1 other 4
ness Posted March 18, 2020 Author Posted March 18, 2020 Made some more beef broth from bones a few weeks ago. Froze that and made some soup from it over the weekend. With a Guinness tonight. Tastee! Mitch f, fishinwrench, Johnsfolly and 2 others 5 John
Johnsfolly Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Sticking with a Irish/British theme made beer battered fish using the remaining drum filets. Also hand cut chips. Sprinkled with malt vinegar and homemade tartar sauce. BilletHead, Mitch f, rps and 2 others 5

Terrierman Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Honey nut cheerios, 2% milk and half an apple. The honey crisp apples are freaking HUGE right now! fishinwrench and Gavin 1 1

ness Posted March 19, 2020 Author Posted March 19, 2020 Scrambled eggs, diced ham, American cheese and just a little Swiss cheese too. Like my scrambled eggs pretty soft and creamy. Toast (some kind of artisan white loaf -- pretty good) and Kerrygold butter.  Johnsfolly 1 John
Terrierman Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 And for lunch leftover ham, bean, carrot, celery soup and leftover cornbread. Cooked in a well preheated 8 1/2" Wagner ware skillet for a nice crispy bottom and side crust. Cornbread is still in the pan and warming in the oven so the texture stays right. Staying home and staying healthy and hoping all my OAF friends are getting along as good as we are. Bless you all.
