My dad drew him in the last open they had in October a few years back and he was doing the same thing then that he is now.  Watson forgot about the long idle back into state park the day before in that derby and was docked 6-7mintes late and had almost 15lbs that day.  It was the tournament Short won.  I have to give the draggers a little help your right about the 9-10lbs out there.

Was there a comment that said he was burning a frog?  What does that even mean?  I have no idea how to fish one, but I have never seen a frog swimming as fast as a buzzbait, but I guess that's the deal.

Limits were bigger today, and got a feeling anyone can win this tomorrow.  Several of these guys said they should have had over 20 pounds and blew it, so we will see.

Also is there a payout list where you can go and see the payouts for each place?

They'll probably show the payouts with the final results on Bassmaster.com.

Jacob Wheeler moved up a bunch, that young man can fish a frog and other top water with the best of them.

it would be great if Mr. Clunn won it. Watson looked like he was throwing a Zoom? horny toad. Not really a frog, basically a very subtle buzzer.

Man, looks to be tough out there. Some really good names, both Elites and locals, in the bottom half or near the bottom. Biffle had one fish weighed today. Pete Wenners in 60th but had a above average bounce back today considering what the field did for the most part. Freddy Boom Boom Roumbanis, Russ Lane, Kevin Short, Alton Jones, Cliff Crochet, Gary Klein, Stephen Browning.....these guys are ELITES and still struggling to put up a decent bag. Makes me feel a little bit better about my success on the Rock at times. Out of all these top tier guys the heaviest bag in 2 days brought to the scale is 17lb 0oz and that was by Jacob Wheeler today. Yikes.

Watson is burning the frog but has 2 other topwaters that he throws depending on how much wind there is.
