I put the trailer on my favorite spinner bait and tossed it overboard thinking I had already tied it on. Just this past summer. 😆 DADAKOTA, Daryk Campbell Sr and Quillback 1 2

Just this past summer. 😆 I have picked up a piece of scrap line from the deck, tied a bait to it, and done the same thing. One was a HIGH DOLLAR slow sinking jerkbait that I could have retrieved......had I not tossed it 20 feet away like an idiot. I actually didn't realize what I had done until I stood up, grabbed the rod and prepared to make a cast. 🥴 snagged in outlet 3 and Daryk Campbell Sr 2
Johnsfolly Posted December 16 Posted December 16 In the way back machine when I fished the Current 4 or 6 times a year, Iwould aggressively fish floating Rapalas. I often did best when they would deflect off of rocks on the bottom. If I didn't retie frequently I would often cast them off my line🙄. If they didn't sail off into the woods and actually landed in the water, I could often just wait for the bait to float downstream to me where I could net it and retie😉. In my youth, I have been known to climb up one of those bluff walls to retrieve a bait or two😂. Quillback and snagged in outlet 3 2

If you are going to keep throwing them up in the tree you should aim lower so we could at least get them back. 😆 Couldn’t even reach them with a long handle net. Quillback and Johnsfolly 2
Quillback Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Fished one day with an OA member that doesn't post here anymore and he threw a jerkbait probably 15 feet up into a tree that was on a steep rocky bank where there was no way we could get to it. He had to break it off. It was still up there a year later. snagged in outlet 3, Johnsfolly and BilletHead 2 1

May I suggest you have one of your kids do the shopping? Or at least a younger person not suffering from dementia 😆 That’s the best help I can offer
