I don't really think you're giving away the store when you talk about stripers/hybrids in a tailrace. Pretty common knowledge.

Yep, I doubt it is a secret location.  Timing is what is important.

We'll that was kinda the same thinking I had since I have seen tons of boats fishing there. I just never fished there before, always to busy drinkin a few "Kool-aids"  with friends that don't fish .BUT posts like I posted affect more people than just me so I will be less detailed from now on

No Coosa keep them coming. They are my favorite fish to catch on the fly rod. You boys did good and I am happy for you. Go back and repeat. Make a log book. Discover a pattern. Repeat year after year in same conditions. Again well done gentlemen,

Ham I never did hear the broken rod story. Will have Richard tell the story and then have you tell the story and compare.  Now don't you two get the same story going or I know you guys have been collaborating,

Yes, that is what this is all about.   You aren't going to give it all away when there are plenty of people are already there. If no one shared at all, none of us would be enjoying the sport.   Imagine that.

I am more than willing to post pics of the deceased rod, if it will help the story, or increase Ham's pain.

It's good to have friends. Share the pic. I deleted my copy of it, but I could always re-photograph the pieces if it helps. I'll follow my instructions and wait to tell my "version" of it.

Its been a tough year for my fishing gear. My cousin broke 4 inches off the end oof one of my Browning Air Stream rods Monday afternoon. Back to my Dorber's for now.

You need to bubble wrap your sticks.

I won't put the pic up. It makes me cry a little looking at pieces of a TWS.

I needed to bring MH that I could lean on them with. I was happy to get out with only one broken fishing pole.
