Ness - I'm very partial to Bushmills. I haven't had their Red. used to get Bushmills Black which may have been aged in port wine barrels.

I picked up the red on a whim. Good stuff. Black is sooo smooth -- it would be a good likker for a brown-likker newbie.

I'm just kidding about the Wild Irish Rose, of course, but since you brought it up: Southern Comfort has been lingering for more than 40 years.

For me it was Yukon Jack during a deer season almost 40 years ago.  I could barely type this.

I give you...The Peatini®

On the day Pepper Martin was inducted into the Cardinal Hall of Fame (I am just catching up with this thread) I put a sliver of banana pepper into a martini.  I called it a Pepper Martini and drank to "The Wild Horse Of The Osage."

Now the Schafly Tap Room has Dortmunder on tap, currently.  It's not overpowering but a perfect combination of flavors and like an old friend.  I plan to fill up my growler this weekend.

For me the Yukon Jack thing happened at a lumberjack party in school. There are about 4 of us that overdid it, and will never touch the stuff again. Ever.
