Bass Enforcer Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 With the waters low it's a good time to walk the banks to look for lures. Who can identify all of the lures in this pic? (Not me) I'm just wondering what some of them are. Particularly the older ones. The rest of them i know. But any help would be great thanks. Daryk Campbell Sr, Dhunter1, magicwormman and 1 other 4
Alex Heitman Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 2 of those XD'sare probably ones I have lost haha. I don't know what the older ones are though.
fishinwrench Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I'll give ya 5 bucks for the Whopper Plopper and the Spoonbill Rogue.
Bass Enforcer Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 Lol. I guess I should have said. My buddy is down there right now. He called me yesterday to tell me he was heading down but I wasn't able to go due to some chores. So these are all his. I think I can speak on his behalf as we neither one ever sell our lures. (Hoarder problem) We go to a few lakes and do this and have decent luck. He always seems to do better than me. Last time he went he found over 50 lures and 7 of them were original warts with other vintage ones. magicwormman 1
Quillback Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I have lost WAY more than I have found. Seems like I'll pull one out of the lake a couple of times a year. Usually Flickr Shads for some reason. Muddy Water 1
fishinwrench Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I'm blown away by how many good (expensive) baits I find hung on dock cables. Guys are so worried about going in and getting a scratch on their boat that they'll just break them off.
Bass Enforcer Posted December 30, 2016 Author Posted December 30, 2016 Wrench I'm the same way. Though I try not to get my boat all scratched up but some times I just gotta go for it.
fishinwrench Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Pretty new bassboats are awesome, but I wouldn't enjoy owning one, and it always makes me nervous working on them. dan hufferd 1

I don't want a boat that can't be fished hard. Pretty is nice but it's not putting more fish in the boat. Smalls21 1
vernon Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Hey, you guys do realize that all of us "pretty boat" guys are right here listening don't you! I'm the first to admit, my boat costs me more fish than it adds. But, I'm fine with that and actually like it that way. I must or otherwise I wouldn't have the dang thing! Fortunately for boat dealers and manufacturers, there' enough of us to go around although I know plenty of pretty boats that ain't so pretty no more. Not everybody that gets one cares I guess. 96 CHAMP and Champ188 2 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." George Carlin "The only money ever wasted is money never spent."
