OA One Bass Tourney 2017 3/11

Permits are approved, March 11 is getting closer!

Here are the rules, such as they are.

Feel free to bring food.  We had a pretty good spread last year.

 March 11, 2017, Eagle Rock COE Ramp, 0630 start time, Tournaments ends at 1430.

Must be a registered OA member to participate.

Big bass format, largest weight wins. Any black bass (Largemouth, Smallmouth, Spotted Bass, Meanmouth) are eligible, but only one bass will qualify as the biggest.

No entry fee, trophy will be awarded to the winner (and just think of the bragging rights you will have on the forum). Immense prestige will accrue to the winner of this tournament.

You can fish multiple people out of a boat, but the trophy will go to the individual that weighs in the biggest bass.

You can trailer to another Table Rock launch if you prefer.

Typical bass tourney rules apply - No bait, no trolling, and no A-rig or multi-arm lures.

No promises on what will be there as far as food, but last year things came together and we had a pretty good spread.  I recommend you bring your own drinks.

Always a chance that weather could be bad in March, if it is looking bad enough to make travel treacherous then we will have to reschedule. We'll notify everyone a day or two in advance it if look like bad weather.

A couple of changes from last year - 1st is that the start time is 0630, last year it was 0730.  Time change is on 3/12, so we will have plenty of light for an 0630 start.

Phil has suggested that everyone contribute $10 which will be given to the winner to donate to his or her favorite charity.  This is voluntary, and I won't be taking names of who doesn't or does contribute.

Very much looking forward to this event. Last year was my 1st appearance in this tournament and i sure enjoyed meeting a lot of the guys that appear in this forum. Putting some faces to the names was fun. I met RPS and he willingly shared some of his walleye tactics to me. Very nice guy. Hated to hear that his boat was vandalized. One thing I would like to see us do is go around and announce our forum handles to everybody in attendance. Thanks Quillback for putting this together. And good idea Phil for the 10 dollar donation to the winner for charity. Looking forward to March 11.

Looks like I will be fishing BFL on Grand that day. Wish I could be there. I enjoyed it last year. Good luck and be safe.

I'll be wrapped in, wrapped up, wrapped all over so brightly and completely in sponsor logos and indispensible pro basser attire that no one will be able to tell who I am. I might even be mistaken for Babler. You know, coz we're so similar in stature.
