I certainly visited there today. dtrs5kprs sent me a message about a new bait he knew would interest me. My beloved Top Dollar is not readily available anymore, and he had found something that might serve as a substitute.

I still have a few of the Top Dollars I had Tim Hughes paint. I equipped these with Babler's recommended Daiichi Death Trap hooks and I tied a feathered tail for each. Now that I cannot buy blanks to replace them, I have become more hesitant to throw them. I would have a larger stash, but I gave a few to others as gifts.

I ordered a couple of baits to try out. I am very hopeful.

My pockets are lighter also but with no shipping and taxes it's like getting 2-3 lures free

Attaboy!  Just think, if the regular shipping and tax were only a little higher you could save even that much more!

Wasn't the new 6th Sense popper, the Splash Back, by any chance? Been eyeing those and look like a mix between a Pop-R and your beloved Top Dollar.
