Its rare that I meet somebody & immediately have a serious life conversation. Dudes a genuine down to earth guy, I felt like I made a friend on Sunday after about 5 minutes. Those guys over at BBC need to quit banging on their keyboards & acting like petulant children. I'm yet to meet a bad person from OAF in real life. God has a way of putting the right people in your life at the right time. This was one of those times.

In all walks of life, there are those that poke their chests out more than needed, and those arm chair fishermen over there do just that. If being banned is a rarity, then i guess im one in an uncrowded group. Ol' Wrench and i, along with Champ may just have to make that group less uncrowded. I don't think it's a rarity. More like a steady stream. I've been on BBC since 2005 and there have been a LOT of bannings. The trouble with these sites is that someone has to ride herd or they just descend into chaos. I've seen it done here on OAF several times but it's always been by members that care and with finesse rather than the hammer approach employed by BBC. However, BBC has over 100K members which greatly ups the percentage of knucklehead participation. That said, your banning was silly and should have never happened.

When I had my 520 for sale I listed it on BBC.  I had five different guys contact me with "serious"inquiries that made appointments to come take a look.  Coming from Mississippi, St. Louis, Tulsa and Kansas City (2).

ZERO showed up.  Told me all I needed to know.  

Needless to say, I wasted a lot of hours getting the boat out of storage, prepping it for their visit and just hanging around waiting for them to never appear.  I called each one of them a couple of times trying to find out if there was a problem or is they were still coming.  Got nothing but voicemail recordings.  

Not a single one ever called me back.

Otherwise, I've not spent any significant time on other areas of their deal as I also found it confusing to navigate and was scared off by some of the "conversations" that I did happen to read.

I'm staying here where at least if I get criticized I feel like I'm getting scolded by "family".
