You just can't beat the Senko shimmy on the fall.  Sometimes it doesn't matter, but who knows when it does and when it doesn't?

I don't earn my living by catching fish so I have settled on the SK Shim-E-Stick and I give them a good stretch before rigging,  but if I was fishing for money I'd definitely throw the Yamamoto Senko.

I'd rather catch more than 1-2 fish per bait.  I like the BPS stick-o's.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

I always figured there was an element of planned obsolescence with Senkos. I don't care too much about the cost or hassle of constantly replacing baits but I do worry about all the fish trying  to digest a piece of plastic.

Get some clear shrink wrap and melt a couple pieces in the middle of your senko. You don't go through them nearly as often. I've tried the o-ring method of rigging and I still prefer the shrink wrap. I'd guess 10-12 fish per senko is about the norm with the shrink wrap.

I really like the zoom versions especially the green pumpkin and watermelon. Tried them side by side with people using sink and had similar results to better results. Of course I am very familiar with using them in comparison.

Hardly adimes worth of differance as faras Iam concerned. There are other things I use like a sinko a lot like big unweighted or lightly weighted plastic worms. One of my favorites is the 10 " Big Bite Kreit worm.

I will add this. For weightless wacky rigging, I prefer the Senko for the faster sink rate. If I am using a flick shake jighead or texas rigging, I use the cheaper Yum Dingers or BPS models.
