Al Agnew Posted September 7, 2017 Author Posted September 7, 2017 I don't really care whether Snoop or anybody else believes my fish are what I say they are. I post pictures now and then so that people can judge for themselves if they are so inclined. But guess what? I'm darned good at using Photoshop, and if I wanted to, I could take any 15 inch smallie I photographed and make it look like a 22 incher...measuring board and all. Heck, I don't win any prizes, make any money, or get any women from my fishing exploits, so I'm not sure how I'm self-promoting anyway. And by the way, the reason I don't carry a measuring board is simply because I don't care to...it's just one more thing to clutter up the canoe. It's not that important to ME whether my 20 incher is 19 7/8ths or 20 1/4th that I gotta carry something to measure it exactly. Nor is it all that important to me how many of my bass are over 12 inches, since I don't keep them and don't consider there to be much difference between an 11 incher, a 12 incher, or a 14 incher, they are all just average examples of a wonderful game fish. I usually count the total number simply to have an objective measurement for myself of how one trip compares to another. Quillback, Johnsfolly, Hog Wally and 2 others 5
thewhitesnoop Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Fair enough Al. There is no rule that you have to have or use a board, so if you are happy without one, that's cool. Even though I don't think it creates that much clutter in the boat. It's not like you are traversing in The Royal Debacle or anything 😂. Now that's some serious clutter! Thanks for the honest reply. I prefer that to being attacked by Seth or berated by Mitch anytime.
fishinwrench Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 Holy crap. You mean to tell me that if he had never mentioned any numbers in his posts that you would have never gotten all bent? Who knew it was all about the math ?! Hog Wally and snagged in outlet 3 2

Are you always this hypocritical? The only reason anybody is directing their comments towards you is because you started off ATTACKING Al because he doesn't use a bump board to measure his fish. So you are complaining about being attacked for attacking somebody, right? Just wanting to make sure I'm understanding your reasoning here. Don't be a jerk and you won't be catching any grief. It's simple. Big Keene 1
Quillback Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I like the fish on a paddle pics. Showing them on laying on a ruler is kinda boring (I have taken plenty of ruler pics myself), and half the time you can't read the numbers anyway in some of the pics. If you're an experienced fisherman, as most of the folks on here are, you can tell a nice fish when you see one, no need for a ruler. snagged in outlet 3 1

Yes, you are the only one. Can't believe what I am reading. Perhaps OA should contract with an independent and well respected accounting firm to verify all fishing reports for accurate counts, measurements, and weights. Whitesnoop, have you consulted with a physician about your ED? snagged in outlet 3, Greasy B and Gavin 1 2
Mofloatjunkie Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 It's sad people like the white snoop have to start problems on the internet just to get some cheap entertainment. Al's knowledge and experience he shares with us on this forum are priceless and I have no respect for any punk that doesn't appreciate it. I for one have caught many fish using information from his posts. You the man al. Don't let haters get to ya. And my advice to everyone else is don't even acknowledge this clown. If we don't respond he gets nothing. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I kind of like it when Wrench and Seth dog him. Seth, Greasy B and Mofloatjunkie 3
thewhitesnoop Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 It's also sad when I read about a fish that's 20 inches or 18.5 inches that probably wasn't even that length. If you don't know how long it was, just say it was a good one. You can't just call a smallmouth a 20 incher cause you paddle says he was close and you want him to be 20. But that's just one jerk's unpopular opinion. If you guys want to worship a fishing god that doesn't use a measuring board, then more power to ya!
