Met Fishrman at the ramp today and wasn't sure what to expect since he went the day before and had 4 bites boating just 1.  Here was the total: spoon-3 fish 50-60ft, jig 3-20-25ft, crankbait- lost count after 20 8-12ft. Champ will love this: A-RIG: 1 but had 3 other bumps. Had 4solid keepers and a few that probably measured but didn't measure.  Fishrman caught the biggest at 3lbs. All spots and largemouth. Wt:46-47

No, that confounded A-rig. Worst thing ever to happen to tournament fishing.

Chunk, wind, larger fish. Thankfully some of the new has worn off it and it’s another tool. Initially it was the only thing to throw

Ask the BASS folks. It’s banned from all of their events. FLW too.

I hear rig haters say this but they never have valid excuses to back their statements up, it's a technique just like jig fishing, sight fishing, etc. some have invested time and effort in learning this technique where (as a general rule) the old timers stuck in their ways haven't. I just can't wrap my brain around it, I'm not trying  to start a fight I'm just trying to get answers why it's such a hated bait.
