So some short walleye in my freezer would be ok?  How about this 20 pounds of Spoonbill eggs from.....wherever it's legal to have Spoonbill eggs.    I caught them from the bank so I can sell them, right?

This has nothing to do with selling fish. I was saying that according to MDC you are allowed 60 crappie in possession per valid permit. Count the licenses in your household and multiply that X 60 each. Same thing for Walleye, White Bass, black bass etc. That's a lot of fish per family,

Nope.   30 here.  And we're talking about the Catholic Church castle ..... for Christ's sake.   (Now that was punny) 🤣

15 daily at loz but possession is based on the stated wide limit at 60.

Ok forget I said anything about selling them.  Can I possess 20# of Spoonbill eggs ?

My point was that I know that only one (possibly 2) guys supply the Catholic Church with crappie fillets to last the entire year.  And they have a fish fry monthly.   Their parking lot is the size of Wal-Mart's and on Fish Fry Friday that sucker is full.  Now unless they are rationing them out like the cracker crumbs of Christ's body then you're not gonna convince me that possession laws are not being broken.   No freakin' way.

But ok, I'll just shut up about it.   🙄

Oh, and here's one I'd love to see challenged....

Lake oxark boundaries are at the 660.0 elevation, yet the creeks are considered "private property" and you can get fined for trespass fishing there at an elevation below that.   Does that mean that a 12" bass is legal there ?

I know nothing about spoonbill because I don't fish for them.

Well I read where you said several not 1 or possibly 2 supplying the fish fry. Maybe they are supplementing with Mrs. Paul's? Must be a small Parish. You and I know there are many laws broken and sidestepped.

Several yes, but only one that fishes his way to heaven with prayer beads on his fillet knife for the church.   The others do it for the VFW, ELK'S, or other organizational get togethers.

I don't care because they are crappie, but you can bet your rear-end if it was bass (or Whites) I'd hotline him in a heartbeat.    Somebody should pray for me because I keep his boat running. 😊

You might want to double check on that.

Definitely legal in Texas and Arkansas, I think the simple solution to this question is if someone knows an MDC enforcement officer... please ask him.

Let's put this to rest....

That said I only fish on the Eleven Point river in Missouri a couple of times a year with a $7 daily license and would never think about killing one of those beautiful trout.

It's pretty clear to me.  Pretty fair too.   As much as I like to give MDC the finger I admire their rules and limits and wish everyone would abide by them.

Except for the Spoonbill regs, which are stupid, but I don't give 2 hoots about Spoonbill so....
