While trolling for walleye last friday around B2 on the main lake i found a floating tackle box tray full of soft plastics. I stayed around the area for quite awhile hoping somebody would come look for it. Nobody showed. Very few fisherman on the water at that time. I wasnt sure what to do. Thought about leaving it at Orleans Trail Marina. But brought it home. If its yours and you can identify it I will be back in that area in a couple of weeks. Maybe i can leave it somewhere and you can pick it up.

I was in Academy Sports the other day, washing my hands in the restroom.  A feller went in a stall then came right back out.  He asked me if I was just in there.  First thing thru my mind was the last one had left a masterpiece behind.  I laughed and said no.  He said that there was a wallet in the floor, he picked it up and turned it in.

Still good people in this world.

Back in my Navy days, I twice lost my wallet and had it returned through the Post Office, some one just dropped them in a mail pickup and the postmaster packaged and mailed to me, but the one time I left my watch on the sink it was gone 2 minutes later.  People are strange .

There def are a few good ones left out there. I once filled up the boat in Mount Vernon and left my wallet on the rail of the boat and headed to Stockton Lake. Somewhere around miller my wallet fell off into a yard and a lady mowing her yard found it.  She took it to the mt vernon police department because it had my military ID in it and they called to let me know she had found it and returned it.  They never said who she was but I can promise you whoever she was  is an awesome person and a life saver!!!

Only time I lost my wallet was when I was in the service.  Fell out of my pocket during PT when I was in Basic.  Never realized I lost it, but one of the other guys from another platoon picked it up and found me in the barracks and returned it.  I had one dollar in it and it was still there.

One thing that will throw me into a near panic is when I misplace my wallet somewhere in the house and can't find it.

How about when you lose your phone and you have silenced the ringer. That makes for a bit if a panic😂.

I lost my cell phone one year after walking several miles while turkey hunting on public land.  (The ringer was off so as not to spook any turkeys.)  I tried to retrace my steps but with no luck, but while doing so a turkey started gobbling close by and I was able to call him in, harvesting a nice 20 lb. bird.  Later that evening my Mom called and told me that a mushroom hunter had called her and told her that he thought he had found her son's phone! He was from more than 50 miles away, but worked in Spfld. The next day I met him on his lunch break at a restaurant, bought him lunch, thanked him for his honesty, and got my phone back.  What luck!  A TRUE STORY!
