I used 4 pound mono for the smaller baits and 6 pound for the larger.  Typically when chasing the browns, both day and night, I’m pretty aggressive with the retrieve.  Slowed it down this morning a bit to play with the rainbows.

When I question my sanity...

Made good time, wadered up and guess I'll go get a head start before my ride gets here.

Hopefully more to come.

I stopped being that mad at them when I turned 50.  Are you headed back home?

Thanks Duane.  We are coming down next week and although I won't be up that far after dark I have aspirations of possibly going to the short creek area and throw jerkbaits after dark but I wasn't sure if I should jerk them just like I do during the day or just reel them slow on the surface.  I just haven't tried to fish at all after dark in the boat down there.

Awesome trip, neat to see it play out on multiple pages and almost "live" to boot.  Thanks for sharing with those of us who are drooling wishing their circumstances were just a little different.   GOOD job to both of you.
