MOsmallies Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 Awesome David! Congrats on the new PB! That's a stud river fish no matter where you go!
mixermarkb Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 Ok. Bringing this one back from the dead, but is the Osage fishable in a glass boat, or do you need a jet? Mari-osa access is where I was thinking about dropping in-
Bushbeater Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 Are the Asian carp an issue? I've heard they're thick below Bagnell? snagged in outlet 3 1
Gavin Posted August 16, 2020 Posted August 16, 2020 Congrats! That's a heck of a bass for anywhere in Missouri! Never have fished the Osage.

Lots of places where it goes from 8 feet to 10 inches real quick.

Lots of places where it goes from 8 feet to 10 inches real quick. I hit a lot of rivers I’ve never been to before. First trip always on a sunny day around noon. You get a good look at what you’re dealing with. 6:30 am on a cloudy day. Get your wallet out 😁. Heck even places I’ve been to many times and have had high water recently, gravel can move around more than you think. Trust me on this one. Spent this morning knee deep fixing a little issue I had. https://www.jetmedictool.com FishnDave and Daryk Campbell Sr 2

We were trying to throw bass bugs in the slack water sloughs and in little eddys a couple years ago, but the Asian carp were around those areas too and they'd spook, creating a huge ruckus, and spook the bass. Just the fly line landing on the water would cause them to explode. They are a PIA snagged in outlet 3 and Daryk Campbell Sr 2

I carry everything he had and.... A garden claw so I don't have to stick my hand in the water when it gets slogged with leaves. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
