His eyes were smiling

That is about as excited as I have ever seen that guy.  Seen him with wide open eyes when I let him open up and run the jet last year at jig fest :)

I smiled quiet a bit. Maybe just on the inside. Had a great time with Duane. He did catch a few right behind me. His baits look great in the water and that brown hit the Doty sculpin.

Hey I smiled when I caught a redspot chub in the Spring river above Stott's City. Caught them in the spot that I first met @dan hufferd for the first time😁. That was my 64th species since March. The most number of different species in a year 😁.

Also got Ham on some new species. Smiled then as well.

I would like to trap about 10, 5" chub or stone rollers right now😁

Did catch one more Taney brown tonight while fishing with the big brown trout boys. @JestersHK says that he guided me to that fish so we're good on his promise😌. Not a Taneycomo ironman so headed back in. Never get that chance to fish with everyone.

Had a great time with the guys here at Lilley's and lots of memories. Lots of great food cooked up by @grizwilson  and even food and sauces left by @Terrierman and  @BilletHead were enjoyed by all. Just wish that they ran some water. Thanks to @Phil Lilley for boarding us for the weekend. Duane @duckydoty you're a great fisherman, one hell of a multitalented guy and severely OCD about your jig wraps😁. It was great fishing with you. If I tied a better nanofil to fluorocarbon leader knot we might have seen that other fish.

I somewhat doubt that I would be able to make it to the White in Feb. But we'll have to see.

Tight lines!

It was a blessing to have you guys.  Sorry I missed out on some of the fishing yesterday and festivities last night.  We made our trip to and from St Louis without incident.

Still have one last MO trip planned for the 11 point tomorrow with @Ham. That should be a great trip as well. Thanks buddy for putting up with me and my stoic nature.

I left two boxes of goodies in Hams boat for you guys this morning.  Enjoy!
