I ran to KC yesterday for a kid's program last evening... not good timing but grandkids come first.

Here's a video from yesterday.  I'll probably run up today and do One Cast with Ryan.

Thanks Phil and grandkids are first.

To @duckydoty oh how I wish I would of kept warm and fuzzy hat hostage. Pulled some of the energy out of it 😁,

Has anybody been doing any good since the gates were opened? Me and my son are coming down this evening.

Fished on a dock just down from fall creek this morning. Caught about 15 and missed twice that many. They weren't biting very aggressive. Probably caught equal amount on white and sculpin/amber.  Nothing big at all but they are biting for sure

It's not a big shad run... in the fact that they aren't hammering anything white.  And we're not seeing any fat trout, no shad in the water or fish spitting up shad.  There are some coming over I'm sure but I don't think many are making it to the cable.

But fishing is good...  and they are hitting white, as well as sculpin and black.

KY3 news out of Springfield reported on their 10 PM news last night that there will be continued road closures over Table Rock dam in the up coming weeks.  Usually 1 day at a time to work on the power house.  For what its worth.

Spoke to a guy that fished the Landing yesterday and he said it was stupid on the Powerworm.  At times 3 fish  on at once, really nice stocker rainbows.

They were drifting a pink PW about 7' under an indicator.

We continue to catch a ton of rainbows on a dock and bank just below fall creek resort on the slow side. The size of fish is not good at all though. Some of the smallest fish I've ever caught here and not many nice ones mixed in.....yet.  They will eat a white jig early in the morning but quit hitting it when it gets lighter out then it's sculpin Peach etc

That's how that area was for us all winter. We had to weed through a lot of small fish to pick up the nicer ones.
