Every body stinks. I can't stand being in enclosed places with people that use cologne or some kinds/brands of deodorant/antiperspirant.  Some brands of cigarettes stink and some smell good. Even when I had a two pack day habit some cigarettes stank.  If you eat meat, especially bacon you can be smelled quite a distance. Some vegetables cause some people to stink worse than other vegetables.   If I don't like the way you stink I'll not nag you about though I'll just bring my own car so I don't have to be close to you.  I actually notice people stinking less since I quit smoking, they still stink though I'm sure. Ever not have a dog sniff you?

How people find that "fun" is beyond my comprehension.

Yeah I can't understand it either.  For some weird reason it makes it easier to unwind and think clearly, and I'm a big "thinker".  I can't understand guys that chew since I've never done it.  Driving around with a cup of slobber and tobaccy juice in their truck makes me wanna puke.

The chewing doesn't bother me as much since I don't have to smell it. A spit bottle is nasty, but I'm not being forced to look at it either. Being in close proximity to a chewer doesn't put me at risk of mouth cancer unlike being around smokers and having to breath in second hand smoke. Breathing is mandatory and if you're breathing, you're getting the stench and taste of that smoke when it's near you.

Chewing seems as fun to me as smoking, but to each their own. Paying money to try and give myself cancer just doesn't seem like a very good idea.

So no discomfort or displeasure when burning brush/leaves/trash/wood or when sitting behind a diesel waiting for the light to turn green ?

But tobacco is some kinda different devilish plant matter that just instantly takes years off your life ?    The plant with roots in hell it is !

Dude, that crap is all in your head.  None of it is "good for ya"..... but none is any deadlier than the other.

Well you don't pay $5 a pack to sit behind a diesel waiting for a light.  😊

Cigarettes also control you, that's one of the main reasons I quit, being an addict is a drag (no pun intended),  I ain't being a tool of the tobacco companies either and I ain't giving the tax man $4 for every pack of smokes.  And if you don't think cigs control you, try and quit, you'll find that to be the hardest thing you'll ever do.

Roll your window up and put the AC on recirculate???  I'm with Quillback.  Hardest thing ever is quitting smokes...  BTW don't quit and smoke the "occasional" cigar either.  Trust me.

Minor correction; hardest thing ever is quitting nicotine. After 40 yrs of pack-a-day smoking, I switched to vaping in 30 minutes. One of the easiest things I've ever done. 2 weeks later a 2 year old case of bronchitis I couldn't shake just vanished. I feel way better and it only costs about 1/4 of what smoking costs. I never want another nasty cigarette in my life.

Dreading the day I decide to quit nicotine.

I can't dance like I used to.

I used the graduated vape deals to quit cigars.  Worked like a charm.   Started at the highest concentration and scaled down every 3 weeks until I was vaping zero nicotine.  3 weeks of that and I was done with it.
