Almost 134lbs for 2 days for Cliff Pace.  That's pretty impressive if you ask me even if they are all mostly dinks.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

It is impressive because of how hard they grind.  Just do the math on how many fish you have to catch per hour on that.  Its like 1 fish every 5 minutes.

I had the same thoughts. Kline is two weeks older than me. I seem to be a fairly health guy, but I don't see me doing that day after day. It does look like a grind...

Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???B)

after watching each day of this series I also agree how much of a grind it really is. You have to make a top 20 cut twice then make a top 10 cut to fish the championship round. This is over six days of changing conditions. I'd rather chase 5 in FLW or BASS than chase 50 per day.

From a podcast I listened too... they have to continue the Cup events because of sponsorship deals....I am sure there are other reasons... for continuing the cup events while introducing the BPT tour events.   It will make more sense as time goes on...

I love the format... I would personally rather catch 50 under two pounds as to catch 5  five big ones in one day.  I feel I might learn something more from this format...  but to each his own.

Bobby Lane 95 lbs. today.

I'd like to watch some of the coverage tomorrow, but I have stuff to do.  Last 30 minutes could be fun to watch if there's several guys close to the lead and the coverage shows them.

Am I the only one surprised by the lack of bigger fish? Not even giants, but say fish over 4 pounds? Very few of those and only 5 or 6 the entire event over 5, none over 6. I know it's a numbers deal, but the odds would just seem to point towards these guys stumbling into some big ones along the way. I guess all the big ones must have already moved off the bank or gone nocturnal?
