TroutRinger Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Changing my RSVP from tentative to CONFIRMED. Not sure if I can camp, but at the very least, I am definitely coming down for a full day of fishing and hanging out on Friday or Saturday. Bringing my Coosa HD unless someone wants a deckhand on their jet-boat . Have a truck to help with shuttles/towing/etc. My wife and our 11 month old are going to LOTO Saturday to meet a friend, and I feel bad making her deal with the logistics of traveling with an infant and two 60# dogs by herself. But, if the in-laws are going to the lake too, that will free me up to stay a night and get two full days in. "Of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy." Might ping Cricket. Should be fun. I was pinged and I'm still unsure. Kid plans on Saturday are ruining plans for me.
JestersHK Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Dang, gonna be at Taney that weekend, or I'd try to venture down. Someone needs to strap on a GoPro and document all these fine fishing specimen in their native habitats LOL. Just do go full on Nat geo on us, try to keep it PG-13 at least
Chief Grey Bear Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 I too got pinged. Im planning on it, but I can't commit just yet. Crossing fingers! Gavin Posted June 18, 2019 Author Posted June 18, 2019 I don't know anyone who fishes with a Flat Brim & a GoPro...Might have to vote you off the island if you show up with either of those.😁 Daryk Campbell Sr, JestersHK and fishinwrench 1 2
Seth Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 I hope this trip pans out. Areas south of 44 that affect the Gasconade have gotten 3-4" of rain in the past 72 hours. There's still a lot of rain chances this week too. Jerome is already up over 5' on the gauge and Hazelgreen is 3' and rising. snagged in outlet 3 and Flysmallie 1 1

The Gasconade is somewhat of my kryptonite and I may have jinxed the group. I have tried to get on this river 5-6 times over the last few years and always had to go somewhere else because it gets flooded when I’m scheduled to go...
