My wife grew up on the farm and their house still doesn't have central AC.  They slept on the porch all summer.

I on the other hand grew up in a house with central my whole life.  I'll camp October to May but after that I need AC!!!!!!!!!!  I guess I'm a burbs boy.

I was homeless for 7 months (March to October) after the tornado. Poopin' in the woods, cooking over a fire or on a Coleman stove, bathing and washing clothes in a bucket of creek water, ect. until the new house got plumbed and sided.

Everyone felt sorry for me but I had enough money to go stay in a motel or rent an apartment.... I was perfectly happy living like that.  😊

My oldest daughter was, half the time.  She's a trooper!

The bi-polar 2nd wife I had at the time bailed, ran off with a guy from her church, and was busy trying to take me for all I was worth.  It's a really cool story, I'll share it with you sometime.

My mom, 7 siblings and their parents all lived in this 2-bedroom house with one bathroom. No AC of course, and it looks like the house still doesn't have central air now. I remember staying there one summer in the 60's when I was about 8 and thinking how miserable it was without AC.

We're pretty spoiled, but we can also adapt. I just don't want to though.

I tent camp on average 30-40 days per year.  I am looking forward to VBRO, cabins, rv anything other than a tent and cot/ground.

It's a real eye opening documentary about internet dating, women, religion, lawyers, the judicial system, true friends and how they helped one simple minded hick overcome it all and see through to a happy ending.   We'll crack a beer eventually 😉
