Travis Swift Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 I've got a charcoal grill and a Traeger grill but i'm starting to look at adding a flat top grill to the line up. Who has them and what do you think of them? Also is a 2 burner 28 inch big enough or do i wanna spend the money and get the 36 inch? Just looking for reviews and advice. thanks in advance, travis
Gavin Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 We have a cast iron griddle from Lodge. Just toss it on top of a regular grill grate or your stove top. https://shop.lodgemfg.com/griddles-and-grill-pans/double-play-reversible-grill-griddle.asp
Flysmallie Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 We have a Blackstone at work. They are freaking awesome. It get's used 3 or 4 times a week at least. size is going to depend on how much you want to cook I guess but they are well worth the money. Travis Swift 1

Daryk Campbell Sr Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 We use a 2 burner propane flat top griddle with scouts. It is really a useful tool. I'm not sure the brand, but it makes short work of breakfast and other meals. Has a grease hole with a catch tray in the corner. While I prefer to use cast iron, this is not. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. BilletHead Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 1800s Gate marked. Both in action mode, @Travis Swift Watch for these. Strip and reseason. The long ones posted are from the 30s to the 50s. They come bigger. Be prepared for sticker shock in high end markets. I gave 30 and 35 for those. 10 bucks for one of the round ones and the other came with three skillets for 25 bucks. All needed work. I refuse to go outrageous price wise. Johnsfolly Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 @BilletHead those are great restorations. Haven't taken the time yet to work on my old cast iron. I haven't found a griddle at the price range that I am willing to pay especially one that needs restoration work. Did see a waffle iron that I really liked but didn't pull the trigger. BilletHead 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 I’ll put it on the girls garage sale list. Crazy what you can get on s Saturday morning in the burbs. Daryk Campbell Sr, patfish and BilletHead 3
